      Advice: Luzardo was scoreless for the first three innings and then the wheels fell off, allowing nine earned runs while only getting four more outs. On the day, he allowed only three extra-base hits but 11 hard-hit baseballs, and the average exit velocity against him was 94 mph. It’s been a tough year for the 26-year-old, who has a 5.30 ERA but remains perhaps the top starting pitcher on the trade market. That market just may not be as enthusiastic as it was over the winter.       David Bednar pitched a scoreless ninth inning in a 1-0 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

      Advice: Bednar didn’t allow a hit and also didn’t record a strikeout in the inning. The right-hander has thrown seven straight scoreless outings and has been scoreless in 10 of his last 11 appearances.       Advice: Gausman gave up three home runs Monday after allowing just two over his past nine starts. The 33-year-old had notched three-consecutive quality starts prior to Monday's setback, but he has been unable to find his footing this season. Through 60.2 innings, Gasuman holds a 4.60 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP, both of which are his worst since 2019. Skubal allowed at least one baserunner in each inning, but he was still able to earn a quality start despite not having his best stuff. Gausman had allowed five home runs in 11 previous starts, but gave up a home run to Anthony Santander and two home runs to Austin Hays. His ERA is now 4.60 on the season.       Peralta (4-3) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk over five innings Sunday, striking out seven and earning a win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Peralta coughed up two runs in the first inning before Paul DeJong knocked a solo shot in the fourth. It was Peralta's first win since April 30 after he went 0-3 with a 4.08 ERA in five May starts. He racked up 21 swinging strikes, matching the season high that he set in his last appearance. He's registered an impressive 39:6 K:BB over his last five starts, improving his season mark to 89:21. Peralta will carry a 3.74 ERA into his next matchup, which is projected to be in Detroit.
