    • Jurickson Profar scores twice in victory over Reds
Jurickson Profar doubled, walked, scored a pair of runs and collected an RBI on Wednesday as the Padres triumphed over the Reds.

Advice: Profar worked Nick Martinez for a leadoff walk in the fourth inning and scored on a fielder’s choice off the bat of David Peralta. He also chased Martinez from the game with an RBI double in the fifth inning, then came around to score on a run-scoring single off the bat of Jake Cronenworth. He’s in the midst of an outstanding season at the dish — slashing .339/.431/.517 to go along with seven homers, 32 RBI and three stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:54 pm
    • Homer, double in win
Kepler went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo homer and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Kepler led off the second inning with a solo shot off Jake Irvin, giving the Twins an early lead, before adding a double in the ninth and scoring what turned out to be a crucial insurance run on a Ryan Jeffers base hit. Kepler had cooled off a bit after a fast start to the year -- he came into Wednesday stuck in a 3-for-16 slump. The 31-year-old outfielder is still slashing an impressive .311/.368/.544 with four homers, 18 RBI and 16 runs scored across 115 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:28 pm
    • Max Kepler homers, doubles to lead Twins
Max Kepler homered and doubled Wednesday as the Twins edged the Nationals 3-2.

Advice: After a 12-3 Nationals win and a 10-0 Twins rout, the two teams actually managed to play a close one in the finale. Kepler homered in the second and doubled and came around to score in the ninth. He’s hit .345/.410/.618 in 17 games this month. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:36 pm
    • Homers twice Tuesday
Tucker went 2-for-4 with two homers, a walk and three runs scored in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Tucker homered in his first at-bat that went 340 feet and would've only been a home run in Houston. He later provided a no-doubter in the seventh to knot things up at 5-5 that would wind up sending the game to extra innings. Tuesday was his fourth multi-homer game of the season and he's now back to leading the league with 17 while his 1.074 OPS only trails Shohei Ohtani. For the year, Tucker is now slashing .293/.425/.649 with 36 RBI, 36 runs and a 40:36 BB:K in 214 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:25 am
    • Teoscar Hernández goes 0-for-4 in loss to Arizona
Teoscar Hernández finished 0-for-4 in the loss to the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Advice: Hernández got a visit from the trainer after hurting his ankle while fielding a single in the second inning tonight, but he was able to finish the game without incident. His average dropped to .242 tonight, as he’s gone 7-for-39 with 13 strikeouts in his last 10 games. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:43 pm
    • Kyle Tucker homers twice to lead Astros
Kyle Tucker hit his 16th and 17th homers before scoring the winning run in the 10th as the Astros bested the Angels 6-5 on Tuesday.

Advice: Tucker’s homers couldn’t have been much different. The first was a 340-foot shot to the opposite field that would have a homer in Houston and nowhere else, according to Statcast. The second was a no-doubter that was pulled 407 feet to right. Tucker now leads the majors in homers by one over Gunnar Henderson. His 1.074 OPS puts him behind only Shohei Ohtani. • On bench again
Kepler is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: The Twins are facing a lefty for the second straight day, meaning Kepler will give way to the righty-hitting Manuel Margot in right field. Kepler is slashing .303/.352/.505 across 108 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:29 am
    • Records two steals Monday
Tucker went 1-for-3 with two walks, one RBI and two stolen bases in Monday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.

Advice: After a two-homer game versus the Brewers on Sunday, Tucker showcased his speed Monday. The outfielder is in the midst of another excellent stretch with seven homers and four steals over his last 14 contests. For the season, he's up to a .288/.421/.618 slash line with 15 home runs, 34 RBI, 33 runs scored, nine steals and 11 doubles over 47 games. Tucker has had 30 homers and 30 steals in separate seasons, but he's on pace to hit both milestones in the same campaign for the first time in 2024. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:46 pm
    • Profar has two-hit game Monday
Jurickson Profar went 2-for-4 against the Braves on Monday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Padres offense as they were shutout, but Profar’s hot hitting continued. He’s up to .339 with .944 OPS on the season. Once the top prospect in all of baseball, Profar is enjoying easily his best season in his 11th year in the major leagues.
