      Advice: Steer recorded his 12th steal in 65 games, putting him on pace to surpass the 15 he had over 156 games in 2023. On an unrelated note, the team received news that first baseman Christian Encarnacion-Strand is mulling season-ending wrist surgery.       Advice: Semien was integral as the Rangers built an early 5-0 lead after two innings. He was hit by a pitch to lead off the bottom of the first, stole second base, then came home on Wyatt Langford's single. An inning later, Semien deposited a first-pitch slider into the stands in left for a two-run home run.       Advice: Abrams drove in all three runs on a double off Aaron Bummer in the fourth inning that broke the game wide open for the Nationals. He also had two hard-hit balls that both resulted in outs. The 23-year-old has had a rough go of it over the last month, going 28-for-136 (.206) since the calendar flipped to May with a 35:2 K:BB rate in 33 games. Abrams has a ton of talent with 10 home runs and 10 steals already on the season. He’s also still striking out just 21 percent of the time on the season, so strikeouts haven’t been a major issue.       Marcus Semien went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in a 7-2 win over the Giants on Sunday.

      Advice: The home run was Semien’s 11th of the season to go along with 37 RBIs. He may not have the triple-slash that you expect to see from Semien, but the counting stats have been great and he is cemented into the leadoff spot for the Rangers. He’s one of the most consistent players in baseball, and so we expect the batting average and power to tick up; however, the lack of speed this season has been a bit concerning for the 33-year-old.
