    • Cal Raleigh delivers walkoff grand slam
Cal Raleigh hit a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth to give the Mariners an 8-4 win over the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: A sac fly also would have worked with one out in a tie game, but that’s not nearly as fun. It was the second career grand slam for Raleigh, who entered the night hitting just .180 in 39 career at-bats with the bases loaded. All eight Mariners runs came in the final two innings after Erick Fedde held them scoreless for seven frames. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:44 pm

    • Slugs walk-off grand slam
Raleigh went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in an 8-4 win against the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: Raleigh went hitless with a pair of strikeouts over his first four at-bats but finished the game with a bang, belting a grand slam with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Mariners a walk-off win. It was the second straight day that the backstop produced a clutch hit -- he knocked a two-run single in the 10th frame Sunday to help Seattle to victory. Raleigh is barely over the Mendoza line with a .206 batting average on the season, but he's tied for second among MLB catchers with 12 homers and is tied for fourth with 39 RBI. • Earns 10th save
Megill earned a save against the Blue Jays on Monday, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Entering with a 3-1 lead in the ninth inning, Megill allowed a two-out single to Spencer Horwitz but retired Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on the next pitch to secure his 10th save of the season. Megill has posted four straight scoreless appearances and is now 10-for-11 in save chances this season. He owns a 2.00 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 24:4 K:BB and should continue to be the primary closer in Milwaukee until Devin Williams (back) returns from the injured list. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:14 pm
    • Yainer Díaz (finger) out of lineup but available
Yainer Díaz is out of Monday’s lineup because of a bruised right index finger, but he is available off the bench for the Astros.

Advice: Victor Caratini is starting behind the plate against the Giants tonight. Díaz was hurt when he was hit by a foul ball Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:01 pm

    • Dealing with soreness
Diaz isn't starting Monday's game against the Giants due to soreness and limited range of motion in his right index finger, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Diaz took a foul tip to his right hand during Sunday's game against the Angels, and he didn't feel healthy enough to start Monday's series opener. However, manager Joe Espada noted Diaz will be available to pinch hit if needed. Victor Caratini draws the start behind the dish and will bat ninth in Diaz's place. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:59 pm

    • Andrés Muñoz’s status to be evaluated daily
Andrés Muñoz is still dealing with his sore back, according to manager Scott Servais, and could be day-to-day for the foreseeable future.

Advice: We’re guessing that means Muñoz won’t go tonight after throwing 15 pitches in a scoreless inning Sunday. Ryne Stanek could be the favorite to close tonight. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:27 pm

    • Sitting Monday
Diaz is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the Giants, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Diaz stayed in Sunday's game versus the Angels after being struck in the right hand by a foul tip, but with Cesar Salazar reportedly being recalled, it's possible the hand is still bothering the Astros' starting catcher. The team should have more on his status shortly. Victor Caratini will start behind the dish Monday and bat ninth against Giants southpaw Kyle Harrison. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:59 pm

    • Josh Lowe on the bench vs RHP on Monday
Josh Lowe is not in the lineup for the Rays on Monday against the Orioles.

Advice: Since returning from the injured list, Lowe has started in three of five games for the Rays, but this is the first time he has sat against a right-handed pitcher. Perhaps the Rays are looking to limit his workload as he works back from injury or perhaps the Rays are going to platoon Lowe more going forward. It’s not time to panic but it’s a situation to monitor. For today, Richie Palacios will start in right field while Yandy Diaz DH’s and Amed Rosario plays third base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:15 pm

    • Sitting out Monday
Lowe is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe has gone 1-for-11 with five strikeouts at the dish since returning from his second stint on the injured list, so he'll get a day off to regroup. Jose Siri will cover center field and Richie Palacios will man right field for Tampa Bay on Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:57 am
