    • Back from suspension Saturday
Peralta was reinstated from his five-game suspension and will start Saturday's game against the Cardinals in Milwaukee.

Advice: Peralta was handed the five-game ban for throwing at the Rays' Jose Siri in an April 30 game, but he initially appealed the suspension and made his next turn through the rotation this past Sunday against the Cubs. He dropped his appeal a day later and began serving the ban, which concluded Friday. Peralta was presumably able to stay on his usual between-starts throwing regimen while he was suspended, so he shouldn't face any restrictions with his pitch count as he returns to the rubber Saturday. • Shane Baz walks five on Friday in rehab start
Shane Baz (elbow) walked five and was charged with three runs over 1 2/3 innings on Friday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Durham.

Advice: Baz struggled to find the strike zone in this one, handing out a staggering five free passes and was lifted after 59 pitches (29 strikes) in the second inning. The 24-year-old righty is going to wind up requiring a couple additional rehab outings before the Rays consider him ready to rejoin the big-league rotation. He’s one of the most talented young pitchers in baseball, but it’s going to take him some time to round back into form after missing nearly two years recovering from Tommy John surgery. • Quality start in loss
Webb (3-4) allowed three runs (two earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out six over seven innings to take the loss versus the Reds on Friday.

Advice: Webb has walked multiple batters in three straight starts, but he was at least able to pitch deeper in this contest after failing to get past four innings in each of his last two outings. It's still an uncharacteristic rough patch for the Giants' ace. He's now at a 3.38 ERA, 139 WHIP and 42:14 K:BB through 53.1 innings across nine starts this season. Webb's projected for a tough home matchup with the Dodgers for his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:11 pm

    • Logan Webb works seven, allows two in loss to Reds
Logan Webb gave up three runs — two earned — while working seven innings in a loss Friday to the Reds.

Advice: Webb was much better than his middling start Sunday against the Phillies, but unfortunately it does result in another loss for the 27-year-old. The right-hander gave up eight hits with two walks, and he struck out six. A solid effort, and it lowers his ERA to 3.38 on the season. The Dodgers come next for Webb. • Excellent in no-decision
Glasnow allowed a run on one hit and two walks while striking out 10 over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Friday.

Advice: Glasnow was excellent, with the one hit against him being a Luis Campusano solo home run in the third inning. This was the fourth time this season Glasnow has struck out 10 or more batters, and it was also his fourth straight quality start. The right-hander trimmed his ERA to 2.53 with a 0.86 WHIP and a 73:15 K:BB over 57 innings across nine starts. Glasnow is dialed in, but his workload will be something to keep an eye on -- he's never pitched more than 120 innings in a season, often due to injuries. He's projected to make his next start in San Francisco. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:29 pm
    • Tyler Glasnow whiffs 10 again in no-decision
Tyler Glasnow struck out 10 while allowing just one run in seven innings against the Padres on Friday, but he didn’t factor into the decision.

Advice: Glasnow and King were both outstanding Friday, and both come out of the effort with hard-luck no-decisions. Glasnow allowed just one hit, but that one hit was a solo homer from Luis Campusano in the third inning. This makes back-to-back starts for Glasnow where he’s gotten double-digit strikeouts, and he improved his K/BB to 73/15 with the aforementioned punchouts and two free passes. Expect Glasnow to pitch well again in his next outing, scheduled Wednesday against the Giants in San Francisco. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:58 pm
    • Logs quality start
Mize did not factor into the decision Friday against the Astros, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Mize shut out Houston through five innings Friday, eventually allowing one run on a Kyle Tucker solo homer to lead off the sixth. While the Tigers' bullpen couldn't hang on to the lead, it was an impressive outing from Mize after he allowed five runs in a loss to the Yankees in his last start. Overall, the 27-year-old right-hander is 1-1 with a 3.58 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 26:9 K:BB across 37.2 innings this season. Mize is currently lined up for a home matchup with the Marlins in his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:40 pm

    • Casey Mize logs quality start in no-decision
Casey Mize logged a quality start in a tough-luck no-decision on Friday night, holding the Astros to just one run on five hits over six strong innings of work.

Advice: The 27-year-old right-hander also issued a pair of free passes while striking out two batters on the night. The lone tally against him came on a solo blast off the bat of Kyle Tucker in the sixth inning. Aside from that, Mize was in complete command. He got 10 swings and misses on 88 pitches on the night — five on his heater which averaged 95.5 mph — while posting a CSW of 20 percent. Mize has actually pitched well through his first seven starts, compiling a 3.58 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and a 26/9 K/BB ratio over 37 2/3 innings of work. He’ll do battle against the Marlins his next time out at home on Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:07 pm

    • Picks up second win
Wacha (2-4) picked up the win over the Angels on Thursday, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits and five walks over six-plus innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Wacha produced three 1-2-3 innings and mostly avoided trouble up until the seventh, when he allowed three runs to come across. The right-hander issued a season-high five walks, with the latter two pushing runs home for Los Angeles. However, Wacha was still able to produce his first quality start since April 17 while recording his first win since April 6, both against the White Sox. He carries an 8.38 ERA in May (two starts), posting a 9:6 K:BB in 9.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:09 am
