      Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 and hit a homer that accounted for both Astros runs Tuesday in the loss to the Mariners.

      Advice: Bregman had the nice game after switching places with Jeremy Peña and being dropped to the fifth spot in the lineup. Perhaps it means he’ll resume batting cleanup Wednesday, but the Astros truly have bigger concerns at the moment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:00 pm

      Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Nationals on Tuesday.

      Advice: Ozuna took Matt Barnes deep 413 feet at 107 mph off the bat to score the first run of the game. It was the only run the Braves would need. The home run was his 16th of the season to go along with 48 RBIs.     • Adley Rutschman plates two in O’s victory
      Adley Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Monday in the Orioles’ lopsided win over the Red Sox.

      Advice: Rutschman has been overshadowed a bit by the surreal exploits of Milwaukee’s burgeoning superstar, William Contreras, but he remains in the mix as one of the premier backstops in the fantasy landscape. The 26-year-old franchise cornerstone delivered an RBI sacrifice fly in the third inning before adding an RBI double in the seventh inning of Monday afternoon’s one-sided affair at Fenway Park.     • Nearing rehab assignment
      Conforto (hamstring) could begin a rehab assignment later this week, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

      Advice: Conforto was cleared to resume baseball activities last week as he works his way back from a right hamstring strain, although it's uncertain whether he's done any running yet. He's been on the shelf for a little more than two weeks and shouldn't need too many rehab games before being activated, assuming all goes well. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:00 pm

      Michael Conforto (hamstring) could start a rehab assignment later this week.

      Advice: Fellow outfielder Austin Slater (concussion) is starting a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, and Conforto could join him later in the week. The 31-year-old is off to a tremendous start with a .280/.331/.490 slash line and seven home runs in 38 games. He was placed on the IL on May 12th and his return to the active roster could be bad news for one of Luis Matos or Heliot Ramos, who have been playing regularly since Conforto was injured.       Justin Turner is on the bench for Monday’s game against the White Sox.

      Advice: Turner got a day off on Sunday, but he remains out of the lineup on Monday with Daniel Vogelbach starting at designated hitter again. The 39-year-old is slashing just .222/.301/.359 in 173 plate appearances in 2024 with four home runs and 18 RBI. It’s possible that the Blue Jays will look to get at-bats for other players in his place, and fantasy managers can certainly look to do the same with a hot bat on the waiver wire.       Advice: Turner has now been absent from the lineup for two straight games and three times over his club's last five contests.     • Triples, scores in loss
      Carroll went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple and a run scored in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Miami.

      Advice: Arizona's offense couldn't get anything going until Carroll tripled and scored in the bottom of the eighth inning. It was the outfielder's fourth triple of the season, all coming within the last eight games.       Bregman went 2-for-4 with a walk Sunday against the Athletics.

      Advice: Bregman has slumped for significant periods of the season and Sunday's performance was his first multi-hit game in his last eight starts. He's been unlucky to the tune of a .217 BABIP across 216 plate appearances on the campaign, though Bregman's struggles to make consistent quality contact make him susceptible to these results.
