    Quintana came away with a no-decision in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out four.

    Advice: The veteran southpaw once again had trouble keeping the ball in the park as he served up solo homers to Ketel Marte and Lourdes Gurriel in in the first inning. Quintana has been taken deep eight times in his last five starts, leading to a 5.13 ERA despite a 1.18 WHIP over that stretch.   • Keaton Winn may not need rehab start
    Giants’ manager Bob Melvin told reporters on Sunday that Keaton Winn (forearm) may not require a minor league rehab start before rejoining the team’s rotation.

    Advice: With Blake Snell (groin) heading back to the injured list, the Giants have a gaping hole to fill in their rotation and Winn could be ready to fill the void. The 26-year-old right-hander has been shelved since May 15 due to a mild right forearm strain. He was supposed to make at least one rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento, but it sounds like the Giants may need to utilize him at the big league level instead.     Garabito struck out one and allowed two hits and one walk over a scoreless inning out of the bullpen in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Marlins.

    Advice: After giving up one run in a 3.2-inning start in his MLB debut May 26 versus the Twins, Garabito went nearly a week without any usage before he finished off Saturday's blowout win. Despite making his most recent appearance in relief, Garabito could be an option to make another start either Tuesday or Wednesday versus the Tigers, with Dane Dunning presumably taking the hill for one of those games. Texas could get Jon Gray (groin) back from the injured list as soon as this weekend, so Garabito likely won't be in line for any additional starts in the near future if he does in fact re-enter the rotation against Detroit.     Winn (forearm) could skip a rehab start in the wake of the Blake Snell (groin) injury, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

    Advice: Winn remains tentatively scheduled for a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, but the Giants might need him more in the majors now with Snell expected to land on the injured list. Snell's next turn comes up Saturday, although it's possible Winn is brought back to start earlier than that and the rest of the rotation is pushed back.     Advice: Mahle has been throwing bullpen sessions over the past few weeks, and facing live hitters appears to be just another step in the recovery process. It's been a little more than a year since the right-hander underwent Tommy John surgery, and Mahle isn't expected to be ready for game action until some point after the All-Star break. The lefty has settled in after stumbling to a 6.26 ERA over five starts in April, owning a 2.43 ERA and 31 strikeouts across 33.1 innings since May 1.     Advice: After a three-start hiatus from the loss column, Rogers fell to his seventh loss of the season Sunday -- tied for the third most in baseball. The southpaw yielded four hits and three runs in the first inning before settling in and keeping the Rangers off the scoreboard until a sixth-inning homer by Adolis Garcia.     Priester (0-5) took the loss Sunday against Toronto, allowing four runs on eight hits and no walks across 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

    Advice: After a roughly two-week stint at Triple-A Indianapolis, Priester was called up to fill Martin Perez's (groin) spot in the Pirates' rotation. While the 24-year-old didn't surrender a homer or a walk, he yielded four runs for a third time this season. Although Perez is set to miss at least two more starts, it's unclear if Priester did enough Sunday to be kept around.     Advice: During his last start, Morton was hammered for 12 hits and eight runs by the Nationals. He did a complete 180 on Sunday, yielding one hit and delivering his first scoreless start since April 27. However, it wasn't a perfect outing, as Morton tied his season high in walks and hit the strike zone on just 58 of his 97 pitches.
