      Tuesday’s game between the Braves and Cardinals was postponed due to inclement weather.

      Advice: This one went into a preemptive rain delay prior to first pitch at Busch Stadium and it actually wound up staying pretty dry for a few hours before heavier showers rolled into the area. Odds are they probably could’ve gotten this one in if they had started on time. Instead, it’ll be made up on Wednesday as a doubleheader.       Twins RHP prospect Matt Canterino has been shut down from throwing due to right shoulder soreness.

      Advice: Canterino hasn’t pitched in the minors since the 2022 campaign at this point after undergoing Tommy John surgery and a series of shoulder issues. It’s another tough break for the 26-year-old righty who was a second-round pick all the way back in 2019. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

      Josiah Gray (elbow) allowed one run over six innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Rochester.

      Advice: Gray struck out four, didn’t hand out a free pass, and got up to around 90 pitches in his latest rehab outing. The 26-year-old righty should be ready to return to Washington’s starting rotation at some point later this week or early next week.     • Reds sending Connor Phillips to Arizona for reset
      Reds RHP prospect Connor Phillips has been reassigned to the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

      Advice: It’s been an extremely tough start to the year for Phillips, who was a top-100 prospect as recently as last year. The 23-year-old righty, who made five starts last year for Cincinnati, has struggled to a disastrous 10.11 ERA, 2.26 WHIP and 53/50 K/BB ratio across 57 innings (14 starts) this year for Triple-A Louisville. The complete erosion of his command is startling and he’s going to head to the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League to focus on building back up from scratch. Rotoworld Today, 5:16 pm

      Padres activated RHP Glenn Otto from the 15-day injured list; optioned him to Triple-A El Paso.

      Advice: Williams got his pitch count up to 66 during his most recent rehab outing last Friday for Double-A Akron when he struck out four and allowed one run over five innings and now appears to be getting close to making his season debut.
