• In Saturday's lineup
Ortiz (neck) will start at third base and bat leadoff Saturday against the Cubs.

Advice: Ortiz made an early exit from Wednesday's game versus the Rangers and sat out Friday's series opener due to neck problems, but he's evidently feeling well enough to play Saturday. The 25-year-old has found a good amount of success at the plate recently, going 5-for-14 with a solo home run over his last five games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:18 am

  • Joey Ortiz back leading off Saturday against Cubs
Joey Ortiz (neck) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Cubs.

Advice: Ortiz is back at the hot corner and leading off on Saturday after sitting out Friday’s contest due to neck tightness. The 25-year-old rookie infielder has been phenomenal this season in his Brewers debut with an .835 OPS to go along with seven homers and five steals over 251 plate appearances in 72 games. • Trio of hits in loss
Fry went 3-for-4 with two doubles in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Fry is 12-for-40 (.300) over his last 12 contests, adding five doubles and two RBI in that span. That's a bit less all-around production than he was showing earlier in the campaign, but it's still a solid showing. He's now at a .316/.422/.532 slash line with eight home runs, 32 RBI, 28 runs scored, four stolen bases and 13 doubles through 60 games. Fry has mostly seen time at designated hitter and catcher recently, but he could also be an option in right field while Will Brennan (ribs) is on the injured list. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:58 pm

  • Lifts homer Friday
Isbel went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 10-3 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Isbel has four extra-base hits (two homers, two triples) over his last eight contests. The 27-year-old continues to hold onto a starting role in center field, slashing .235/.280/.390 with a career-high six homers through 67 contests. He's added 22 RBI, 28 runs scored, four stolen bases, five doubles and four triples this season. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:44 pm

  • Slugs homer No. 20
Soto went 2-for-4 with a walk, a three-run home run and three total runs scored in Friday's 16-5 rout of the Blue Jays.

Advice: The 25-year-old outfielder took Yusei Kikuchi deep in the sixth inning, giving the Yankees their first lead of the game before the floodgates opened late. The long ball was Soto's 20th of the season, and he has 60 RBI through 81 games -- only Aaron Judge (79) and Jose Ramirez (73) have driven in more runs in the American League so far this year. • Kyle Isbel goes 2-for-4, homers against Guardians
Kyle Isbel went 2-for-3 with a homer and a walk against the Guardians on Friday.

Advice: After a very quiet April and May, Isbel has stepped it up with a .308/.339/.558 line this month. He’s not doing much running (though he did try and fail on a steal attempt tonight), so there still isn’t currently much reason to consider him in mixed leagues, Rotoworld Friday, 8:33 pm

  • Juan Soto’s homer ignites Yankees’ 16-run outburst
Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and three runs scored on Friday, leading the Yankees to a 16-5 blowout win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Soto’s sixth-inning homer felt like a distant memory after the Yankees exploded for nine runs over the final two innings, but Toronto starter Yusei Kikuchi had shut them down to that point and the team seemed like they were reeling until Soto sent one deep into the right field stands. The Yankees, and Soto, would not look back from that moment on. The 25-year-old fantasy superstar is up to 20 round-trippers already and is on pace to reach the 40-homer threshold for the first time in his career. Rotoworld Friday, 7:39 pm

  • Back with Giants
The Giants recalled Fitzgerald from Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: With Thairo Estrada (wrist) headed for the injured list, Fitzgerald will return to San Francisco in order to give the Giants some depth in the infield, though he is also capable of playing in the outfield. The 26-year-old has slashed .273/.333/.409 across 72 plate appearances in the majors and could share reps with Nick Ahmed until Estrada returns. Rotowire.com Friday, 6:00 pm

  • Giants recall Tyler Fitzgerald from Triple-A
Giants recalled INF Tyler Fitzgerald from Triple-A Sacramento.

Advice: With both Thairo Estrada and Wilmer Flores landing on the injured list on Friday night, the Giants had a sudden need for an extra infielder so Fitzgerald gets another shot with the big-league club. The 26-year-old has hit .273/.333/.409 with one homer, four RBI and five stolen bases in 72 plate appearances with the Giants this season. Rotoworld Friday, 5:36 pm
