    Tigers optioned RHP Matt Manning to Triple-A Toledo prior to Friday’s game against the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Manning had been scheduled to start Friday’s game, but was scratched and optioned to the minors so that the Tigers could activate Kenta Maeda and reinsert him into the rotation.
