• Key knock as pinch hitter
Lowe went 1-for-1 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored Thursday against the Cubs.

Advice: Lowe began the game on the bench with lefty Justin Steele on the mound but entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning. He made an immediate impact with an RBI single and also tallied his first stolen base of the season. Lowe has gone only 2-for-18 since being activated from the injured list June 5 while striking out eight times. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago

  • Tallies two hits, steal in win
Canha went 2-for-3 with two RBI in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Nationals. He also stole a base.

Advice: Canha extended his hitting streak to three games, and he's recorded a stolen base in two of those contests. That gives the veteran four steals for the season, and while he's not known for his speed at this point in his career, Canha did swipe 11 bases last year in 12 chances. He's a smart and efficient baserunner who can contribute a little bit in that category, though fantasy managers shouldn't expect huge numbers the rest of the way. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago

  • Crushes three-run homer in win
O'Neill went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in a 9-3 win over the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: O'Neill singled in the first inning then broke the game open in the fourth, crushing a three-run homer off Aaron Nola that traveled 430 feet over the Green Monster. After returning at DH from a knee injury Wednesday, O'Neill got the start in right field and hit his first home run since May 19. O'Neill endured a terrible May, hitting .151 with two home runs and five RBI over 73 at-bats but has opened June going 7-for-16 with a homer and five RBI in just five contests. Health has always been a concern for O'Neill, as he has eclipsed 100 games played in a season just once, but he is now slashing .256/.356/.512 with 12 home runs in 2024. Rotowire.com 52 minutes ago

  • O’Neill crushes 12th home run Thursday
Tyler O’Neill went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run against the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: O’Neill’s home run was his 12th and his first since May 19th against St. Louis. He was back in right field after missing Tuesday’s game with knee discomfort and occupying the designated hitter spot on Wednesday. Fantasy managers have to be pleased with these developments. • Suzuki swipes fifth base in loss Thursday
Seiya Suzuki went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base on Thursday.

Advice: Suzuki missed a couple of games last week with tightness in his side, but seemed to be feeling better in this one as evidenced by the stolen base. It was his fifth steal in 43 games this season. He had only six steals in 138 games with the Cubs last season. Rotoworld Today, 6:34 pm

  • Lowe pinch hits, steals base to spark win Thursday
Josh Lowe went 1-for-1 with a run scored, an RBI, and a stolen base against the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: Lowe was on the bench to begin the game with the Rays facing a left-handed pitcher. The stolen base was his first of the year. He came off the bench and started the scoring for the Rays in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single. He later stole second and scored what turned out to be the winning run. Lowe had been 0-for-13 with two walks in his previous five games. Rotoworld Today, 6:21 pm

  • Enters Thursday's lineup
Jankowksi entered Thursday's lineup as the designated hitter and is hitting seventh, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Corey Seager (hamstring) was scratched with hamstring tightness, forcing Josh Smith to shortstop while opening a spot for Jankowski. Jankowski has now started four of the Rangers' last seven games, going 2-for-13 with stolen bases and two runs scored in that span. Rotowire.com Today, 6:14 pm

  • Rays officially release outfielder Harold Ramírez
    Rays released OF Harold Ramírez.

Advice: Ramírez went unclaimed on waivers with no club willing to pick up the remaining portion of his $3.8 million salary for this season and is now officially a free agent. The 29-year-old outfielder was jettisoned from Tampa Bay’s 40-man roster last week after posting a lackluster .589 OPS with one homer and five steals through 48 contests. He shouldn’t have too much trouble latching on elsewhere. Rotoworld Today, 4:42 pm

  • Hits go-ahead home run
Donovan went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's 4-3 win versus the Pirates.

Advice: Donovan took Mitch Keller deep in the sixth inning for what turned out to be the game's winning run. He extended his hitting streak to eight games and snapped a streak of 26 games without a homer in the process. The 27-year-old has gone 10-for-30 (.333) during his hitting streak and now carries a .248/.325/.380 slash line with five home runs and 29 RBI for the season. Rotowire.com Today, 3:46 pm
