    • Generates another quality start
Kirby didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk over six-plus innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Kirby posted a sixth straight quality start and left the contest having allowed just one run. However, he left a pair of runners on the basepaths, both of which came in to score on a George Springer home run to finalize Kirby's earned run total at three. Kirby is tied for the 10th most quality starts in baseball and ranks top-10 in innings pitched with 111.2. He owns a 3.39 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP along with an outstanding 109:11 K:BB on the year. He's scheduled to face the Angels next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 12:51 am

    • Breaks homer drought
Garcia went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run during Sunday's 10-1 win over Colorado.

Advice: Garcia hit leadoff in each of his previous 11 starts but was bumped down to eighth in the batting order Sunday. Despite the change, Garcia still was productive, hitting his first home run since May 17 with a three-run blast off Tanner Gordon in the first inning. On the year, Garcia is slashing .230/.283/.347 with six home runs and a 15.8 percent K rate. Rotowire.com Today, 12:45 am

    • George Kirby posts quality start in no-decision
George Kirby logged a quality start in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon, giving up three runs on seven hits over his six-plus frames.

Advice: The right-hander racked up eight strikeouts on the day while allowing only one base on balls. The Jays scratched out a run against him in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Alejandro Kirk. Kirby then allowed a pair of singles to start the seventh inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen — and both runs ultimately scored. The 26-year-old hurler got 16 swings and misses on 93 pitches in the contest — 10 of those on his heater — while posting a strong CSW of 33 percent. He’ll look to finish his first half strong as he brings a 3.39 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 109/11 K/BB ratio (111 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Angels in Los Angeles. • Keuchel struggles with command in no-decision
Dallas Keuchel struggled with his command in a no-decision against the Brewers on Sunday, issuing five free passes over 4 1/3 innings of shutout baseball.

Advice: The 36-year-old southpaw also allowed three hits and didn’t strike out a batter in the contest. The five walks led to an elevated pitch count of 94 (42 strikes) through 4 1/3 innings, which cost Keuchel a shot at earning a victory in this one. He got just five swings and misses on the afternoon while registering a miserable CSW of only 21 percent. He’ll look to finish the first half strong as he carries a 4.61 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and a 9/8 K/BB ratio (13 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Nationals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:08 pm
    • Maikel Garcia delivers three-run homer in rout
After being dropped to the eighth spot in the order, Maikel Garcia went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk against the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Garcia’s last stint of being dropped from the leadoff spot lasted two games, so we’ll see if this one is any longer. He’s been quite a disappointment for the Royals this season, though not really for fantasy purposes with his 21 steals, 52 runs scored and 40 RBI. It’s big for his fantasy value that he lead off, though, and since the Royals aren’t moving Bobby Witt Jr. or Vinnie Pasquantino up to that spot, Garcia probably remains the team’s best option. Adam Frazier got the nod there today and went 0-for-4. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:46 pm

    • Sean Manaea strong again across six innings
Sean Manaea shut the Pirates out over six innings on Sunday. He struck out six, walked three, and allowed just two hits.

Advice: Manaea had a rocky start to this game going to multiple three-ball counts in the first inning and throwing 40 pitches total over the first two. Then, he locked in and faced just two batters over the minimum over the rest of his outing. The Pirates had zero left-handed batters in their lineup against the southpaw Manaea and he responded with a heavy diet of sinkers and sweepers. He seemed to make an adjustment with his sweeper too: it was down two ticks and had significantly more depth than usual. He even said, “it felt more like a curveball today” when talking about the pitch after the game. It all worked and Manaea has allowed just one earned run across his last three starts. • Logs another quality start
Manaea yielded two hits, three walks and struck out six over six shutout frames but did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Manaea had another strong outing, picking up back-to-back quality starts for the first time since 2022. The left-hander did not allow a hit until two outs in the fourth, when Ke'Bryan Hayes reached on an infield hit. Unfortunately, Manaea did not get much run support, which continues a common theme with him since he's still at five wins this season despite allowing three runs or fewer in 14 of his 17 starts.  Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:11 pm

    • Snaps out of power slump
Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

Advice: Olson took rookie Michael Mercado deep in the second inning to break out of a 14-game homerless drought. It was Olson's second separate streak of 14 or more games without a homer this season, after only having one such streak all of last season. The 30-year-old entered the game in a 10-for-65 slump with just two extra-base hits and three RBI in his last 18 games, so he'll try to find some positive momentum headed into the All-Star break. • Homers, swipes bag in win
Kelenic went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer, a walk and two strikeouts in Sunday's win over the Phillies

Advice: Kelenic was one of three Atlanta hitters to go deep off rookie Michael Mercado in the second inning. The 24-year-old continues to be a revelation for Atlanta since they started giving him regular playing time. Kelenic hit his 10th home run of the season, and all have come in his last 49 games. He's hitting .277/.313/.500 with 25 RBI and four stolen bases in that span, and he should continue hitting leadoff with Ronald Acuna (knee) out for the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:21 pm
