    • Josh Rojas finishes hitless in third straight game
Josh Rojas went hitless in a third straight game Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: He’s in a 3-for-26 slump over his last seven games, and he hasn’t had an extra-base hit since May 5. It’s unfortunate for the Mariners, but if Rojas had to slump, he’s done so at a time when it wouldn’t affect his playing time, what with Jorge Polanco and J.P. Crawford both hurt. It doesn’t seem like Rojas will cease being a fixture versus righties anytime soon. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:54 pm

    • Perfect at plate Saturday
Freeman went 4-for-4 with a walk, a double, three runs, three RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-4 victory versus Minnesota.

Advice: Freeman batted out of the leadoff spot for the sixth straight contest and broke out with the first four-hit game of his career. Among those knocks was a run-scoring double and a two-run single. Freeman is still batting just .221 on the season, but he may be rounding into form, as he's gone 8-for-17 with a 4:1 BB:K during his current five-game hitting streak. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:12 pm

    • Freeman has four-hit game Saturday
Tyler Freeman went 4-for-4 with a double, a walk, three runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Freeman continues to occupy the leadoff spot for Cleveland despite a .221 average. The stolen base was his sixth of the season. It was a huge game for Freeman, who remains merely a deep league option.

    • Records steal in win
Freeman went 1-for-2 with a double, a walk, two hit-by-pitches, a stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.

Advice: That's a hard way to get on base four times, but it worked well to set the table for the Guardians. Freeman is still not hitting all that well -- he's batting .167 over 12 games in May, dropping his season average to .193 through 37 contests. He's made up for it with a passable .307 on-base percentage and 9.2 percent walk rate. The 24-year-old has added five steals, four home runs, 13 RBI, 21 runs scored and six doubles through 141 plate appearances. Manager Stephen Vogt is still trying to figure out who will fit best at leadoff while Steven Kwan (hamstring) is out, and Freeman is in the mix, having hit atop the order in each of the last three games. • Resting with lefty on mound
Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Rojas will duck out of the starting nine for the series finale while southpaw Alex Wood takes the hill for Oakland. Luis Urias will fill in for Rojas at third base. Rotowire.com May 12, 11:41 am

    • Not starting Saturday
Freeman is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Freeman broke a three-game hitless streak during Friday's 6-3 loss when he swatted a solo home run, his first since April 19. Ramon Laureano will start in center field Saturday and bat sixth against White Sox right-hander Mike Clevinger. Rotowire.com May 11, 1:04 pm
