    • Hunter Brown picks up fifth win vs. Rockies
Hunter Brown allowed two hits over six scoreless hits while striking out seven to earn the win over the Rockies.

Advice: Brown was allowed to keep things in cruise control after his offense provided him five runs in the bottom of the first. The righty moved his season record to 5-5 on the year and saw his ERA drop to 4.37. Brown has enjoyed a solid June, allowing just four earned runs over 31 innings pitched while posting a 36:8 K:BB ratio. He picked up four wins along the way and will look to get off to a strong start in July when he toes the rubber on Monday against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago

    • Gausman has quality start against Red Sox
Kevin Gausman allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits in six innings in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Gausman struck out five and walked one on the day but did allow two home runs, which accounted for all but one of the runs scored against him. The 33-year-old’s fastball averaged 94 mph on the day, which is up from his season average and he got seven whiffs on 24 swings on that pitch. However, he was only able to get 10 whiffs overall on the day for a 20 percent whiff rate and 25 percent CSW. He had just a 38 percent zone rate on the splitter, and he’s been struggling to get whiffs on that pitch over the last few starts. That’s a bit of a concern because the fastball isn’t good enough to carry him if the splitter whiffs don’t come back. Rotoworld Today, 7:00 pm

    • ATL-STL postponed Tuesday
Lopez won't face the Cardinals on Tuesday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Tuesday's game will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader, and Lopez will get the nod to start the earlier of the two games. The 30-year-old righty hasn't allowed an earned run in 11 innings over his last two starts and will be facing a Cardinals offense that currently ranks 10th in the NL with a .687 OPS. • Lands on injured list
The Twins placed Paddack on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with right forearm fatigue.

Advice: The right-hander labored in his past two outings with eight runs allowed across six innings, and he's given up at least four runs in five of his past six starts. Paddack will be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks but is without a clear timeline for return. Ronny Henriquez was recalled in a corresponding move to provide some bullpen depth for Minnesota. Rotowire.com Today, 9:47 am

    • Twins place Chris Paddack on IL with arm fatigue
Twins placed RHP Chris Paddack on the 15-day injured list with right arm fatigue.

Advice: Paddack has struggled as of late, and after giving up three runs against the A’s Friday in 4 2/3 innings, his ERA now sits at 5.28 on the season. The right-hander will miss at least a couple of weeks, but there’s no clear timetable for when he’ll return. Ronny Henriquez was recalled from Triple-A to take Paddack’s place on the roster. • Fans seven in win
Bibee (6-2) picked up the win Monday against Baltimore, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out seven over six innings.

Advice: Bibee allowed an RBI single to Ryan O'Hearn in the opening frame, but he quickly found his groove and limited an explosive Orioles offense to just one earned run. The 25-year-old is one of the hottest pitchers in baseball right now, notching seven or more strikeouts for the fifth consecutive start. During that span, Bibee has pitched to a 2.51 ERA, a 0.92 WHIP and a sparkling 44:5 K:BB over 28.2 innings. He will look to keep his success going in his next start, currently scheduled for this weekend in Kansas City. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:10 pm

    • Casey Mize strikes out 10 in loss to Phillies
Casey Mize posted a season-high 10 strikeouts and was charged with four runs (three earned) over 4 1/3 innings on Monday in a loss to the Phillies.

Advice: The final line doesn’t totally reflect it, especially since he coughed up four runs in a calamitous opening frame, but there were a bunch of positive takeaways here for Mize in this outing as he generated an eye-popping 19 swinging strikes and didn’t hand out a free pass. Unfortunately, he needed a whopping 101 pitches (66 strikes) to work into the fifth inning. Despite all of the whiffs, he was tagged for a season-high nine hits, including a two-run homer by Alec Bohm in the opening frame. The surface stats remain a bit inflated, but the strikeouts are starting to show up for the 27-year-old former top prospect lately. He’ll bring an underwhelming 4.54 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 56/19 K/BB ratio across 73 1/3 innings (15 starts) into a favorable road matchup on Saturday against the Angels. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:55 pm

    • Fans 10 in loss
Mize (1-6) took the loss Monday against the Phillies, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits and zero walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out 10.

Advice: Mize got roughed up in the opening frame, allowing a two-run double to Bryce Harper before surrendering an Alec Bohm home run the very next at-bat. The 27-year-old found his groove after the first inning, not allowing another run while logging a season-best 10 strikeouts. The strikeouts are likely an outlier as Mize had not registered more than six punchouts in any start this season. Despite his ugly 1-6 record, the right-hander has pitched better as of late -- Monday marked his sixth-consecutive start allowing three earned runs or less. He is tentatively scheduled for a road start against the Angels this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:39 pm

    • Tanner Bibee strikes out seven in win over O’s
Tanner Bibee struck out seven and was charged with two runs (one earned) over six innings on Monday in a win over the Orioles.

Advice: Bibee kept things rolling from a strikeout standpoint in this one, recording at least seven strikeouts for the sixth time in his last seven outings dating back to May 19. The 25-year-old righty generated 14 swinging strikes, with half of them coming on his four-seam fastball, and finished with a solid 27 percent CSW. He’s continued to lean a bit more on his curveball a bit more in recent outings, which coincides with the recent uptick in strikeouts, and he appears primed for a strong second half of the year. He’ll bring a solid 3.50 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 106/22 K/BB ratio across 87 1/3 innings (16 starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the Royals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:26 pm
