    • Secures win Thursday
McArthur (3-3) allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the win over the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: McArthur rebounded from his previous outing, which saw him take the loss versus the Mariners on Sunday after allowing three runs (two earned) in two-thirds of an inning. He's kept runs off the board in four of his five outings in June, but he has just one save this month. For the year, he's at a 5.08 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB over 28.1 innings while converting 12 of his 16 save opportunities as the Royals' primary closer. Rotowire.com Today, 12:09 am
    • Andy Pages swats seventh homer in loss to Rangers
Andy Pages connected on a solo homer in a loss to the Rangers for the Dodgers on Thursday.

Advice: Pages took Michael Lorenzen deep for the Dodgers only run of the game. That gives Pages seven homers and 20 RBI, and the roundtripper along with a single sees the slash go up to .270/.320/.427. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:09 pm

    • Works 4.2 innings
Miller (shoulder) allowed five earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four across 4.2 innings in a rehab outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.

Advice: This was likely Miller's final rebab appearance before being activated from the injured list. While the surface stats weren't strong, his fastball was measured between 96 and 99 mph and he threw 51 of 93 pitches for strikes. If the Dodgers elect to keep him on five days rest and bring him back to the big-league roster, Miller would make his return at Coors Field on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:33 pm

    • Hitting streak reaches 11
Reynolds went 1-for-5 with an RBI on Thursday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Reynolds hit a comebacker that glanced off Lance Lynn in the fifth inning to extend his hitting streak to 11 games. He's gone 15-for-46 in that span, while also tallying six RBI and five runs scored. Even with the strong stretch, Reynolds is hitting a mediocre .262 and also has an ISO of only .160 across 306 plate appearances this season -- the lowest mark of his career. • Duran has two hits, two RBI in win Thursday
Jarren Duran went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, a run scored and two RBI against the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: Duran’s two-run double in the second inning made it 4-0 Red Sox. He scored on Tyler O’Neill’s three-run home run in the fourth inning that gave Boston an 8-3 lead. Duran is hitting .272 with 30 RBI with the Red Sox this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:25 pm

    • Bobby Miller struggles in final rehab tune-up
Bobby Miller (shoulder) surrendered five runs over 4 2/3 innings on Thursday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: Miller struck out four, issued three walks, and threw 93 pitches (51 strikes) in his fourth and likely final rehab start as he completes his lengthy rehabilitation process from a right shoulder injury. The positive news here is that he averaged 97.4 mph on his four-seam fastball. Unfortunately, he got hit pretty hard and struggled to find the strike zone in this one. He’s likely to rejoin Los Angeles’ starting rotation mix at some point next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:06 pm

    • Could start rehab games Tuesday
Contreras (forearm) is hoping to begin a rehab assignment around June 18, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Advice: Contreras is just five weeks into a projected 10-week timetable following surgery to repair a fractured left forearm, but Goold writes that the catcher is "eager to push the timetable for his return." He took batting practice in the cage Thursday and has been catching bullpen sessions without issue. If Contreras is indeed able to start a rehab assignment by Tuesday, he could be just a week or so away from activation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:26 am

    • Taking full BP in cage
Contreras (forearm) will take full batting practice in the indoor batting cage Thursday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Contreras is barely more than a month removed from surgery to repair a fractured left forearm. He was given a 10-week timetable to return following the operation but would appear to be ahead of schedule, given that he's already taking batting practice. Before being activated from the injured list, Contreras will surely need to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment, but it's uncertain when he might be cleared to join one of the Cardinals' affiliates for game action. • Ready for rehab assignment
Kremer (triceps) threw a bullpen session Thursday without issues and could begin a minor-league rehab assignment this weekend, Sam Cohn of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Advice: Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said a decision hasn't been made regarding which affiliate Kremer will join and which day he might pitch, but the right-hander is seemingly coming along well in his recovery from a triceps strain in any case. After being placed on the 15-day injured list May 24, Kremer may need only one rehab outing to get stretched back out before he rejoins the Baltimore rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:58 am
