    • Outfield possible after Turner back
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Saturday that Sosa playing the outfield after Trea Turner (hamstring) returns is "absolutely" a possibility, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Sosa has a total of just 5.1 innings of outfield experience and has never started a game in the outfield in pro ball. He's been outstanding at shortstop since Turner got hurt, slashing .310/.380/.606 with three home runs in 22 games, which has the Phillies contemplating other ways of keeping him in the lineup long term. The Phillies could have an opening in left field if Brandon Marsh (hamstring) needs to miss time, but Sosa will still be needed at shortstop until Turner is back. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

    • Struggles continue Sunday
Quintana came away with a no-decision in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out four.

Advice: The veteran southpaw once again had trouble keeping the ball in the park as he served up solo homers to Ketel Marte and Lourdes Gurriel in in the first inning. Quintana has been taken deep eight times in his last five starts, leading to a 5.13 ERA despite a 1.18 WHIP over that stretch. He lines up to take the mound next during the Mets' trip to London this weekend to face the Phillies. Rotowire.com Today, 8:34 am

    • Holds on for save
Garcia secured a save after he pitched one inning, allowing one run on two hits while striking out three batters in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Garcia entered the game in the top of the ninth inning, tasked with protecting a 5-3 lead. He surrendered a leadoff double to Oneil Cruz, then struck out back-to-back batters before Rowdy Tellez notched an RBI single. Garcia then punched out Ji Hwan Bae to end the contest, securing his third save of the season. He now possesses a 1.57 ERA and 0.74 WHIP on the year while striking out 29 batters over 23 innings in 22 appearances out of the bullpen. Garcia is likely the primary ninth-inning option for Toronto due to Jordan Romano (shoulder) being on the 15-day injured list. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:15 pm

    • Gavin Stone fans six in victory over Rockies
Gavin Stone was terrific in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Rockies, racking up six strikeouts over five innings of shutout baseball.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander scattered four hits and a pair of walks on the day. He needed just 75 pitches (53 strikes) to navigate his five frames before turning the ball over to one of the best bullpens in all of baseball. Stone got 15 swings and misses in the ballgame — nine on his slider — while registering a CSW of 31 percent. He has been outstanding for the Dodgers this season, posting a 6-2 record, 2.90 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 47/19 K/BB ratio over 62 innings through his first 11 starts. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he takes on the Yankees in New York on Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:12 pm

    • Notches 16th save
Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Cleveland, allowing one hit and zero walks while striking out zero in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Finnegan's strong season continued Sunday, and his 16 saves are tied for fourth in the major leagues. The 32-year-old has been remarkably consistent, allowing just one earned run since March 31 and converting 14 of 15 save opportunities during that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:33 pm

    • Another scoreless outing
Stone (6-2) allowed four hits and two walks while striking out six over five shutout innings to earn the win Sunday over the Rockies.

Advice: Stone has blanked the Mets and the Rockies over 12 innings across his last two starts. He had a 3.60 ERA as of May 21, but it's down to 2.90 with a 1.19 WHIP and 47:19 K:BB through 62 innings after his pair of scoreless outings. Stone's next start is projected to be much tougher, as he's lined up for a road outing versus the AL-leading Yankees. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:23 pm

    • Nursing ankle issue
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Abreu twisted his right ankle in the dugout during Sunday's loss to the Tigers and is receiving treatment, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old went 1-for-4 with a run scored before he suffered the injury and was replaced by a pinch hitter during the ninth inning. Abreu will have Monday's team off day to aid in his recovery before the start of a two-game series versus Atlanta on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:17 pm

    • Yimi García shaky, earns save vs. Pirates
Yimi García allowed two hits and an earned run in an uneven save against the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: He also struck out three. Toronto went right to García with Jordan Romano back on the IL for the save. Oneil Cruz scalded a double 111.8 MPH to start the ninth inning and came around to score, but García still closed it out. He looks to be secure in the role while Romano is out. • Wilyer Abreu getting treatment on his ankle
Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Tigers that Wilyer Abreu is getting treatment on his ankle.

Advice: The 24-year-old outfielder slipped down the dugout steps late in the game and appeared to roll his ankle. He stayed in the game though, until he was pinch-hit for against left-hander Andrew Chafin in the ninth inning. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything serious, but still something that fantasy managers should take note of heading into next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm
