Guerrero is beginning to flash a little more power -- over his last 11 games, he has three doubles and two of his six homers on the year -- but he's been making plenty of hard contact, slashing .367/.452/.495 since the beginning of May with 16 RBI and 16 runs in 28 contests.       Reds manager David Bell said Monday that Marte (suspension) is scheduled to begin his rehab assignment June 11, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

      Advice: Marte is nearing the end of his 80-game suspension due to violating MLB's joint drug prevention and treatment program. After ramping up his activity in the Dominican Republic, Marte will travel to the United States and will likely begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville, per Mark Sheldon of MLB.com. Bell noted that Marte will mostly play third base in his assignment, but the 22-year-old will also get some reps at shortstop and second base. Marte is eligible to return from his suspension June 27.       Noelvi Marte, currently 59 games into an 80-game PED suspension, will begin playing in minor league games on June 11.

      Advice: Marte will be eligible to rejoin the Reds on June 27, unless that’s pushed back a day or two by rainouts. Eovaldi didn't report any renewed discomfort with his right groin coming out of the outing against the Diamondbacks, so he should be in store for a more typical starter's workload Monday.       Advice: Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters on Sunday that Yoshida has seen considerable improvement and will “hopefully” be ready to begin a minor league rehab assignment before the end of the week. The 30-year-old has been sidelined since the beginning of May due to a strained left thumb.       Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Sunday that he's hopeful Yoshida (thumb) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment later this week, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

      Advice: Cora's comments came one day after Yoshida took live batting practice on the field and reported no issues with his strained left thumb, which has kept him out of action since April 28. Though the skipper didn't offer up a firm timeline for when Yoshida might be activated from the 10-day injured list, the 30-year-old may only need a handful of games in the minors this weekend before he's deemed ready to rejoin the Red Sox.
