    • Taking seat Wednesday
Arraez is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: Arraez will get his second day off since he was acquired from the Marlins earlier this month. The Padres will have Manny Machado fill the designated-hitter spot while Donovan Solano covers third base. Jurickson Profar will bat leadoff in Arraez's stead. Rotowire.com Today, 10:18 am

    • Resting Wednesday
Yelich is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: With a lefty (Martin Perez) on the hill for Pittsburgh and the Brewers and Pirates getting together for a day game after a night game, the lefty-hitting Yelich will hit the bench in the series finale. Yelich's absence clears a spot in the outfield for Blake Perkins, who returns to the lineup after playing off the bench for the past two games. Rotowire.com Today, 8:41 am

    • Launches first homer of 2024
Lowe went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder connected on his first long ball of 2024 when he took Nick Pivetta deep in the first inning. Lowe is quickly making up for lost time after missing the first month-plus of the season due to an oblique strain, and in seven games since being activated from the IL he's batting .320 (8-for-25) with four doubles and a homer. • Brilliant in revenge game
Fedde (4-0) picked up the win in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals, scattering three hits over seven scoreless innings in a 4-0 victory. He struck out six without walking a batter.

Advice: Facing the team he spent the first six seasons of his MLB career with before pitching in the KBO in 2023, Fedde showed the Nats what they were missing, tossing 60 of 99 pitches for strikes as he delivered a second straight scoreless effort and his fourth quality start of the year. The 31-year-old right-hander will take a 2.60 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 50:14 K:BB through 52 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come early next week in Toronto. • Snaps out of funk
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia entered Tuesday's game batting .154 in May but delivered his first homer since Apr. 28 and his first multi-hit game since Apr. 21. Even with the cold spell, Garcia is slashing .247/.297/.449 across 175 plate appearances with a .202 ISO, which aren't too far off his 2022 and 2023 numbers. Rotowire.com Today, 12:20 am

    • Produces lone run
Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Jeffers gave Minnesota the lead with a solo homer as the team's first batter of the game. However, they wouldn't score another run following Jeffers' round-tripper and Jeffers himself struck out in his final three plate appearances. The catcher has hit double-digit homers in 2024 and is on pace to smash his career high of 14 long balls. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:19 pm

    • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. goes 0-for-4 in loss to Reds
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts against the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: Gurriel got off to a really fast start and still posted decent run and RBI numbers for a while after that concluded, but he’s been a mess lately; he’s batting just .160 with no homers and three RBI in his last 19 games. On the plus side, his strikeout rate is fine and Statcast thinks he’s been fairly unlucky to date. He figures to retain some mixed-league value going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:52 pm
    • Adolis Garcia homers in two-hit night vs. CLE
Adolis Garcia went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia’s ninth homer of the season came on a solo blast off Cleveland’s Ben Lively. It was the first homer of the month for Garcia, who has cooled off in a big way after a strong April. Garcia entered the day slashing .154/.193/.173 in the month of May and has become difficult to trust in fantasy as a result. Managers who are unwilling to bench him will have to hope he comes out of this slump sooner rather than later. Hopefully, Tuesday’s two-hit night is a step in the right direction. • Jeffers’ homer gives Twins lone run vs. Yankees
Ryan Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Carlos Rodón’s second pitch of the evening was sent 429 feet into the left field stands by Jeffers, who got the scoring started with a leadoff homer. It was Jeffers’ 10th home run of the season, as he’s well on pace to top his previous career high of 14 before the all-star break. Jeffers is now slashing .278/.308/.806 in the month of May with five homers and 13 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:34 pm
