      Advice: This was Musgrove's first bullpen since going on the 15-day IL due to right elbow inflammation in early May.       Martinez (knee) has started in both of Triple-A Buffalo's last two games Sunday and Tuesday, going 1-for-7 with a home run and two walks between those contests.

      Advice: Martinez was lifted in Friday's 12-7 win over Worcester when he was hit in the right knee by a pitch in the eighth inning, but after getting Saturday off, the 22-year-old looks to be healthy again.       Tovar went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres.

      Advice: Tovar doubled to lead off a five-run sixth for the Rockies and then homered to kick off the seventh. He continued his recent hot streak at the plate and now has at least a hit in eight straight games, slashing .343/.361/.686 with two homers, five RBI and five runs scored over that span. The 31.1 strikeout rate is a bit alarming, but Tovar continues to hit toward the top of the lineup and is still making solid contact with a .275 average over 180 plate appearances thus far.       Taillon (3-1) took the loss Tuesday, surrendering seven runs (two earned) on seven hits and three walks over four innings as the Cubs fell 7-0 to Atlanta. He struck out two.

      Advice: The right-hander's own fielding error in the fourth inning softened the blow to his ERA, but Taillon's final line was by no means undeserved as he served up homers to Michael Harris and Matt Olson in his last frame. It's the first time in five starts Taillon has been taken deep multiple times, and he'll take a 1.61 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 18:8 K:BB through 28 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Pirates.       Ezequiel Tovar collected his fifth homer and 11th double Tuesday in the Rockies’ 6-3 takedown of the Padres.

      Advice: Tovar swings at everything and might have the worst approach of anyone in the majors, but he’s talented enough to be something close to an average hitter anyway. Through 180 plate appearances this year, he’s sporting a .275/.315/.443 line in spite of a 56/8 K/BB ratio. The modest success, and the fact that it’s rewarded by a Rockies team willing to hit him at the top of the lineup, makes it less likely that he’ll ever truly reach his potential.       Wacha (3-4) allowed one run on three hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Mariners.

      Advice: Wacha limited the damage to a Luke Raley solo home run in the fourth inning. This was Wacha's second quality start in a row and his fourth in nine outings this year. He's also walked multiple batters in five of his starts, but he's given up a reasonable five homers. The right-hander has a 4.71 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 44:17 K:BB through 49.2 innings.       Advice: The timetable comes from Brewers manager Pat Murphy just a few hours after Hoskins landed on the injured list prior to Tuesday’s showdown against the Pirates. It sounds like an MRI on the 31-year-old first baseman’s hamstring revealed merely a low-grade strain. There’s a chance he’s back at some point in early-to-mid June, barring any setbacks.
