• Imanaga allows one run as Cubs down White Sox
Shota Imanaga allowed one earned run in 4 1/3 innings while striking out six in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Imanaga, who didn’t earn a decision in this one, allowed just two base runners through his first three innings but ran into trouble in the fourth after back-to-back singles by Andrew Vaughn and Luis Robert Jr. kickstarted what turned into a five-run inning for the White Sox. Imanaga was charged with just one earned run on the night, but the White Sox did their part to get to him early. A double by Korey Lee would put the White Sox up 3-0, but Lenyn Sosa’s two-run homer just a few batters later quickly pushed that lead to 5-0. Imanaga would be pulled with one out in the fifth inning after a rain delay and is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday against the Reds. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

  • Ozzie Albies homers in win over Red Sox
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Albies hit a 401-foot shot that left the bat at 104.4 mph for his fourth home run of the season. The second baseman has just 29 RBI on the season to go along with a .275/.339/.410 slash line. He’s one of a surprising list of Braves players who haven’t been hitting at their usual level so far this season. There’s not much you can do in fantasy leagues; Albies is a talented player in a good lineup who should get it going over the summer. He’s highly unlikely to reach the 30+ home runs he’s hit in each of his last two fully healthy seasons, but he could put together another solid fantasy season. Rotoworld Today, 7:35 pm

  • Ends power drought
Albies went 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run home run and an additional run during Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Albies went yard for the first time in 22 games, plating Austin Riley and Marcel Ozuna in the sixth inning on a three-run shot off Kutter Crawford. He's been swinging a hot bat as of late, batting .324 with five doubles, six RBi and five runs scored in his last 10 games. After slugging a career-high 33 homers last season, Albies has just four round-trippers in 50 games in 2024 and his slugging percentage has dropped from .513 to .410. • X-rays negative
Initial X-rays on Murphy's right elbow came back negative after he was hit by a pitch during Tuesday's win over the Red Sox, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Murphy's elbow swelled up significantly immediately following the HBP, though he appears to have escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage. The catcher also said after Tuesday's game that he is confident he'll be able to avoid the injured list and get back to playing within a few days. Travis d'Arnaud would start behind the plate for any games that Murphy may have to miss. Rotowire.com Today, 7:18 pm

  • Nick Castellanos delivers walk-off hit vs. Brewers
Nick Castellanos delivered a game-winning single in the 10th inning on Tuesday, powering the Phillies to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Brewers.

Advice: Castellanos snapped a 1-1 stalemate in extra-innings with a walk-off single to right field off Brewers reliever Joel Payamps. It was his lone hit in three at-bats, although he did draw a pair of walks in the extra-inning marathon. Rotoworld Today, 7:08 pm

  • X-rays come back negative on Sean Murphy’s elbow
Sean Murphy is day-to-day with a right elbow contusion.

Advice: The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative after Murphy was hit by a pitch on the right elbow during the ninth inning of Tuesday’s game against the Red Sox, which led to his removal from the contest. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to wind up missing too much time, if any. Rotoworld Today, 6:58 pm

  • Freddie Freeman has two hits in loss to Pirates
Freddie Freeman went 2-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Freeman had a first-inning single and smoked a 103.6 mph double off Jared Jones, finishing as the only Dodger with multiple hits on the day. The veteran has been his usual solid self all season and should add a bit more power as the weather heats up. Rotoworld Today, 6:46 pm

  • Exits after HBP
Murphy was removed from Tuesday's game against the Red Sox after getting hit in the elbow by a pitch, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Murphy took a 92-mph fastball off the inner part of his right elbow, which had already exhibited significant swelling by the time he reached first base. Atlanta will take him into the clubhouse for a closer look and should have more information on his status in the near future, but it's possible the 29-year-old backstop sits out until the swelling goes down. • Sean Murphy leaves game following hit by pitch
Sean Murphy left Tuesday’s game against the Red Sox after being hit by a pitch.

Advice: Murphy appeared to get hit in the elbow area by a ninth-inning offering from Red Sox reliever Chase Anderson and was immediately lifted for a pinch runner. There should be an update on his status shortly after this one goes final at Fenway Park. Rotoworld Today, 6:29 pm
