    • Collects three hits Monday
Rojas went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI against the Rockies in Monday's 9-5 victory.

Advice: With Mookie Betts going down with a fractured left hand Sunday and set to miss several weeks, Rojas appears primed for a near-everyday role at shortstop. He did his best Betts impression Monday, notching three hits for the third time this season and scoring twice. Naturally, fantasy managers shouldn't expect Rojas to come anywhere near Betts' level of production, though the former Miami Marlin is having a solid season at the dish with a .292/.339/.460 slash line, three homers, 10 doubles, 15 RBI, 15 runs and three stolen bases through 121 plate appearances. • Belts game-winning homer
Estrada went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk and four total RBI in Monday's 7-6 win against the Cubs.

Advice: Estrada was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning to give San Francisco its first lead, though Chicago quickly re-took the lead in the bottom of the frame. The Giants remained behind until the ninth, when Estrada blasted a three-run homer that proved to be the game-winning hit. The long ball snapped a 20-game homerless stretch for the infielder. With nine home runs on the season, Estrada is five away from tying his career-high mark. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:33 pm
    • Miguel Rojas goes 3-for-5 in Dodgers’ victory
Miguel Rojas went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the Rockies on Monday.

Advice: Sure, Jazz Chisholm Jr. doesn’t seem to like him, but how badly did the Marlins botch things by trading Rojas for a prospect they didn’t even want a year and a half ago? Rojas is batting .292/.339/.460 in 121 plate appearances this season, and he’ll serve as the Dodgers’ primary shortstop while Mookie Betts is out. Meanwhile, the Marlins continue to roll with Tim Anderson, who might be the very worst player in the league. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:08 pm

    • Schneider blasts ninth home run in loss Monday
Davis Schneider went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against the Red Sox on Monday.

Advice: Schneider’s home run was his ninth. He took Red Sox starter Nick Pivetta deep in the seventh inning. Schneider continues to hit for power with a .201 ISO on the year, but his average is just .225 this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:23 pm

    • Red Sox hopeful David Hamilton (side) avoids IL
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said he’s hopeful David Hamilton can avoid an IL stint after leaving Monday’s game with left side discomfort.

Advice: The Red Sox knew about it before the game and let him start anyway, but he had to leave in the fourth. “We’ll see how he comes tomorrow,” Cora said. “I think we were proactive so hopefully not an IL stint, but we’ll know more tomorrow.” Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm
    • Dealing with side issue
Hamilton (side) exited Monday's contest against Toronto due to left side discomfort in the fourth inning, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: Hamilton was removed from the game in bottom of the fourth inning after striking out for a second time in the top of the frame. The shortstop may have tweaked something in his side in his final at-bat of the day. Romy Gonzalez and Ceddanne Rafaela could see more work at shortstop if Hamilton has to miss time. • David Hamilton exits game with side discomfort
David Hamilton departed Monday’s game due to left side discomfort.

Advice: That’s not usually good, but there’s the chance it might be minor. If Hamilton is forced to the IL, perhaps the Red Sox would take a look at Chase Meidroth at shortstop. The other option would be to just bring back Jamie Westbrook, who was sent down today. In that case, Romy Gonzalez and maybe Ceddanne Rafaela would play short. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:38 pm
    • Exits early versus Toronto
Hamilton (undisclosed) was removed from Monday's contest with the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fourth inning, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Hamilton struck out swinging in the top of the fourth inning, exiting the game prior to taking the field in the bottom of the frame. The 26-year-old will finish his day 0-for-2 with two punchouts and an update on his status will likely be provided before the conclusion of Monday's contest. In the meantime, Romy Gonzalez shifted over to shortstop while Enmanuel Valdez entered the lineup at second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:29 pm
    • David Hamilton leaves game in fourth inning
David Hamilton left Monday’s game in the fourth inning with an undisclosed injury.

Advice: Enmanuel Valdez replaced him, with Romy Gonzalez moving from second to short. It’d be awful timing for Hamilton to suffer a significant injury, especially after he was just picked up in every league in which he was available. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:25 pm
