• Likely option to be called up
Knack is no longer listed as Triple-A Oklahoma City's starter Saturday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Advice: Not coincidentally, the Dodgers don't have a starter listed for Sunday against the Reds, with manager Dave Roberts saying recalling Knack was one of the options they were considering. It would appear he's the guy they've settled on, whether it's as a traditionally starter or perhaps a bulk reliever. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

  • Gets cortisone shot for shoulder
Cobb was given another cortisone injection to combat his injured right shoulder, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Cobb began the season on the injured list while he continued to recover from hip surgery, but it's been elbow and shoulder issues since then that have plagued him. This is the second cortisone shot he's been given for his shoulder, and the hope is that it will be more effective than the first one. Cobb will be shut down for a bit and his timetable to return is open-ended. Rotowire.com 18 minutes ago

  • Bell drives in four on Saturday
Josh Bell went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Bell blasted a game-tying three run home run in the ninth inning off the Mets’ Edwin Diaz. It was his sixth home run of the season. It was a good game, but Bell isn’t having a good season. Even with the home run, his .137 ISO is the lowest of his career. His average is .229, but that should pick up a bit as his BABIP is .258 this year compared to his career .286 BABIP. Rotoworld 23 minutes ago

  • Good enough for win
Harrison (4-1) picked up the win Saturday versus the Rockies, yielding three runs on five hits and two walks over five frames. He notched four strikeouts.

Advice: Harrison was originally supposed to start Friday but got pushed back a day, with the Giants indicating it was because they were keeping an eye on his workload. His velocity was down a bit Saturday and he had thrown only 79 pitches over his five frames before getting pulled. While not overly sharp, Harrison was still good enough against the Rockies to pick up his fourth victory of the season. While the left-hander's 3.60 ERA and 1.27 WHIP have been solid, he's been a bit of a disappointment from a strikeouts perspective with just 49 over 55 innings. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

  • McNeil has two hits Saturday
Jeff McNeil went 2-for-4 with a run scored, two RBI, a walk and a stolen base against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: McNeil gave the Mets a sizable lead as his two-run single made it a 7-2 game in the fifth inning. It was a good game from the former batting champion, but he’s having a brutal season so far with a .239 average and only one home run.

  • Vientos has two-hit game Saturday
Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and an RBI against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Vientos had an RBI single in the first inning and later scored on a Harrison Bader single. He has started back-to-back games, but he’s in a platoon with the left-handed Brett Baty at third base. Neither one is more than a deep league option as long as they continue to share playing time.

  • Garrett shaky again Saturday
Braxton Garrett allowed six runs, seven hits and a walk in 4 ⅓ innings and got a no-decision against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: It was Garrett’s second start since coming off the injured list. He’s allowed at least five runs in both of his starts and his ERA is up to 10.24. The silver lining is that Garrett has 13 strikeouts in 9 ⅔ innings this year. The 26-year-old left-hander is scheduled to face the Diamondbacks on the road next weekend, but he should be left on the bench for now.

  • Severino allows five in no-decision
Luis Severino allowed five runs in 6 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Mets’ 10-9 loss to the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Severino was in line for his third win of the season, but the bullpen couldn’t hold the lead. He appeared to be cruising through the first six innings having allowed only two runs, but the Marlins scored three times in the seventh. His ERA is now 3.48. Severino only struck out three batters. His 21 percent strikeout percentage is a far cry from where it was during his heyday with the Yankees, but he’s getting a lot more ground balls as his 55 percent ground ball percentage is a career-high. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Giants at home next weekend.

  • Landon Knack expected to start for Dodgers Sunday
Landon Knack is expected to start for the Dodgers in Sunday’s series finale against the Reds.

Advice: Dodgers’ skipper had mentioned recalling Knack from Triple-A Oklahoma City as one option on Sunday, and now that Knack has been scratched from his scheduled start at Triple-A, the writing is on the wall. Expect him to work the first four or five innings before turning the game over to the Dodgers’ deep and talented bullpen. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago
