  • Trea Turner hits first home run off IL
Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Advice: Turner has hit safely in all three games since returning from his hamstring injury yet this home run was his first extra-base hit. He smacked it 110.6 MPH off the bat, two MPH harder than he’s hit a ball all season. That’s a welcome sight because his power lagged before the injury with just three home runs in April before going down. Rotoworld 42 minutes ago
  • Homers, drives in three in loss
Turner went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Advice: Turner hit a two-run home run off Jordan Montgomery in the third inning then added an RBI single with the bases loaded in the seventh. Turner has gone 5-for-14 since returning from the injured list with a hamstring injury, and the homer was his first since April 17. He has been excellent when healthy this season, slashing .344/.389/.470 with three home runs, 12 RBI, 29 runs scored and 10 steals over 162 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago
  • Hits 10-day IL
Amador (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday.

Advice: Amador suffered a right oblique strain in Thursday's game against the Dodgers, a injury similar to one he sustained earlier in the season at Double-A Hartford. Considering Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) is healthy and Amador put up a .394 OPS in 10 big-league games, the 21-year-old doesn't have a clear path to at-bats in Colorado. Rotowire.com Today, 3:26 pm

  • CJ Abrams (wrist) returns to Nationals’ lineup
CJ Abrams (wrist) returned to the Nationals’ starting lineup on Friday night.

Advice: The 23-year-old shortstop had missed the team’s previous two games due to a Ganglion cyst near his left wrist. He feels good enough to give it a go on Friday night though and will return to his customary leadoff spot in the lineup against Dakota Hudson and the Rockies at Coors Field on Friday evening. • Says he's good to go
Abrams (wrist) said that he's "good to go" for Friday's game against the Rockies, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports

Advice: Abrams was scratched from Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks and missed Thursday's game before an MRI revealed he was dealing with a cyst in his left wrist. However, he'll be back in action for Friday's matchup with the Rockies. Rotowire.com Today, 3:05 pm
  • Set for IL stint
Amador will be placed on the injured list with a right oblique strain, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: Amador's move to the injured list comes at the same time as Brendan Rodgers' (hamstring) reinstatement, meaning the rookie's playing time with Colorado was coming to an end regardless. The 21-year-old appeared in 10 games with the Rockies but struggled to a .171/.194/.200 slash line with a stolen base. While it's unclear how long he'll be sidelined, there is optimism that Amador's recovery will be quick. Rotowire.com Today, 2:47 pm

  • Rockies place Adael Amador (oblique) on 10-day IL
Rockies placed INF Adael Amador on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain.

Advice: The 21-year-old infielder was pulled from Thursday’s game due to what had been termed a “mild oblique strain”, but he’ll need more than just a couple of days to recover from this one. Brendan Rodgers was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 2:25 pm

  • Bryson Stott sits against southpaw on Friday night
Bryson Stott is not in the Phillies’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: With left-hander Jordan Montgomery toeing the slab for the Diamondbacks, the Phillies will use it as an opportunity to give Stott a breather. Fellow left-handed hitters Brandon Marsh, David Dahl and Garrett Stubbs also find themselves on the pine for the start of this one. Edmundo Sosa will start in Stott’s place at second base and will bat sixth for the Phillies on Friday night. Rotoworld Today, 1:02 pm

  • Out of Friday's lineup
Amador (oblique) is not in the lineup for Friday's game versus the Nationals.

Advice: Amador had to be pulled from Thursday's game against the Dodgers with a mild oblique issue. It seems at this point to be more of a day-to-day situation, but between the injury, his slow start and Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) due back soon, Amador looks like an easy drop in most redraft leagues.
