    • Back in Triple-A
Maldonado was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Advice: In a weak and shallow Marlins farm system, Maldonado is one of the few fantasy-relevant prospects, albeit for deeper leagues. He had a 3.75 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, seven strikeouts and one save in 12 innings with the big club. Maldonado threw his mid-80s slider two-thirds of the time and his 93-mph fastball just over 30 percent of the time while in the majors. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago
    • Mauled by Minnesota
Corbin (1-5) took the loss Tuesday as the Nationals were routed 10-0 by the Twins, surrendering eight runs on nine hits -- including three home runs -- and three walks over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Minnesota hung two runs on the veteran southpaw in four separate innings, and Corbin was taken deep twice by Byron Buxton and once by Jose Miranda while also serving up extra-base hits to Carlos Santana and Carlos Correa. It's the first time since March 30 that Corbin has been tagged for multiple homers, but he wasn't having much success when keeping the ball in the park, either. He'll carry a 6.29 ERA, 1.77 WHIP and 32:21 K:BB through 54.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come early next week in Atlanta. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago
    • Swipes bag in 2024 debut
Bae went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI on Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: Bae began the season on the injured list and was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis upon his activation in mid-April. He started in center field Tuesday and hit ninth, bumping Michael Taylor to the bench. It's unclear how the Pirates will divide playing time in the outfield, though Rowdy Tellez could be the primary player to lose playing time with Connor Joe shifting his primary position from right field to first base. • Report: White Sox promoting Zach DeLoach
The White Sox will likely recall Zach DeLoach as a result of Eloy Jiménez’s hamstring injury.

Advice: It’ll be the White Sox debut for DeLoach, who likely would have been given a shot weeks ago had he been hitting better in Triple-A. Fortunately, he has picked it up some of late, coming in at .275/.367/.451 in May after collecting just two extra-base hits in April. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago
    • Goes yard twice in rout
Buxton went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The 30-year-old slugger took Patrick Corbin deep in the second and fifth innings, his first long balls in four games since coming off the IL and his first multi-homer performance of 2024. Buxton had managed only one home run in 28 games prior to knee trouble that shut him down in early May, but Tuesday's fireworks are a strong sign he's fully healthy. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago
    • Chance to keep playing time
Beck went 0-for-4 with a stolen base Tuesday against the Athletics.

Advice: Beck has been a regular starter since being promoted April 30, though it appeared that his playing time would be squeezed with the returns of Kris Bryant and Nolan Jones (back/knee). However, Jones suffered a setback on his rehab assignment and Sean Bouchard was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for Bryant to be activated. That keeps the door open for Beck to maintain regular playing time, though he has just a .212/.212/.348 line across his first 66 plate appearances in the majors. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago
    • Resting Wednesday
Nido is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: With the Mets wrapping up their series in Cleveland with a day game, Nido will receive a breather after catching eight innings of Tuesday's 7-6 loss. Omar Narvaez will spell Nido behind the plate Wednesday. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago
    • Blanks Nats for third win
Ryan (3-3) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing three hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings in a 10-0 rout of the Nationals. He struck out six.

Advice: The right-hander didn't let a baserunner get past second base as he delivered his seventh quality start of the season in 10 trips to the mound. Tuesday's outing was also the first time in 2024 that Ryan had issued multiple free passes. He'll take a 3.15 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 64:9 K:BB through 60 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Royals. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago

    • Homers again Tuesday
Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Seager had a rough time against Phillies starter Ranger Suarez, going 0-for-4 with four strikeouts to start the day. However, he'd turn his night around with a solo home run off Jeff Hoffman in the eighth inning, cutting Texas' deficit to 3-2. The long ball extended Seager's hitting streak to six games -- he's gone 7-for-22 (.318) with three homers in that span. The 30-year-old shortstop is now slashing .246/.335/.383 with seven homers, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored through 200 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago
