      Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 and hit a homer that accounted for both Astros runs Tuesday in the loss to the Mariners.

      Advice: Bregman had the nice game after switching places with Jeremy Peña and being dropped to the fifth spot in the lineup. Perhaps it means he’ll resume batting cleanup Wednesday, but the Astros truly have bigger concerns at the moment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:00 pm

      Jurickson Profar had a two-run homer and an RBI single to drive in three of the Padres’ four runs Tuesday against the Marlins.

      Advice: We’re still not sure what’s gotten into Profar, but he’s hitting the ball harder than ever and he’s currently boasting a .354 BABIP that’s nearly 90 points better than his career mark.       Jake Cronenworth went 0-for-4 on Tuesday, leaving him 12-for-56 in his last 15 games.

      Advice: Given his obvious decline in 2022 and ’23, Cronenworth was a very nice surprise to begin this year, batting .285/.349/.503 in his first 39 games.       Advice: Cronenworth’s bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning was the difference in the Padres’ 2-1 victory over the Marlins. He continues to play second base after the Padres’ trade for Luis Arraez. Cronenworth’s average is up to .271 and his OPS is up to .806, both of which would be career-highs.       Adley Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Monday in the Orioles’ lopsided win over the Red Sox.

      Advice: Rutschman has been overshadowed a bit by the surreal exploits of Milwaukee’s burgeoning superstar, William Contreras, but he remains in the mix as one of the premier backstops in the fantasy landscape. The 26-year-old franchise cornerstone delivered an RBI sacrifice fly in the third inning before adding an RBI double in the seventh inning of Monday afternoon’s one-sided affair at Fenway Park.       Conforto (hamstring) could begin a rehab assignment later this week, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

      Advice: Conforto was cleared to resume baseball activities last week as he works his way back from a right hamstring strain, although it's uncertain whether he's done any running yet. He's been on the shelf for a little more than two weeks and shouldn't need too many rehab games before being activated, assuming all goes well. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:00 pm

      Michael Conforto (hamstring) could start a rehab assignment later this week.

      Advice: Fellow outfielder Austin Slater (concussion) is starting a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, and Conforto could join him later in the week. The 31-year-old is off to a tremendous start with a .280/.331/.490 slash line and seven home runs in 38 games. He was placed on the IL on May 12th and his return to the active roster could be bad news for one of Luis Matos or Heliot Ramos, who have been playing regularly since Conforto was injured.
