    The Yankees reinstated Berti (groin) from the injured list Saturday.

    Advice: Berti will return to the active roster after playing in three rehab games at Double-A Somerset, going 1-for-9 with three walks and a run scored while also stealing a base.   • Austin Riley swats solo homer in extra-inning loss
    Austin Riley went went 2-for-5 with a solo homer in a loss to the Dodgers on Friday.

    Advice: Riley got Atlanta on the board with a solo homer in the first off Gavin Stone, and that’d be the last run they’d score with Stone in the game. Riley is now up to 17 RBI and three homers to go with a disappointing .725 OPS over 124 at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:15 pm

    Arenado went 2-for-4 with two doubles and there RBI in Friday's win over the White Sox.

    Advice: Arenado gave St. Louis an early lead with a two-run double in the first inning before adding another RBI double in the fifth. Over his previous 13 games, he posted a disappointing .614 OPS with just one multi-hit performance. Friday's game was the first time he drove in multiple runs since April 20.   • Vidal steals two bags, doubles twice in loss
    Vidal Bruján doubled twice and stole two bases in a loss to the Athletics on Friday.

    Advice: Bruján drove in the only run of the game for the Marlins in the ninth with a double off Lucas Erceg. The pair of two-baggers with a single now have Bruján slashing .298/.377/.447, and the swipes are his first of the season.   • Rafael Devers doubles twice versus Twins
    Rafael Devers doubled twice, drove in Boston’s only two runs and walked Friday against the Twins.

    Advice: The second double, hit 409 feet to center, would have been a homer in 20 ballparks, according to Statcast. Devers is off to a very good start at .300/.429/.500, but he has just 10 RBI in 98 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:55 pm
  • Goes yard twice in loss
    Baty went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's 10-8 loss to the Rays.

    Advice: The young third baseman took Aaron Civale deep for a three-run blast in the second inning to open the scoring, and he then connected for a solo shot off Jason Adam in the ninth. It was the first multi-homer performance of Baty's big-league career, and it snapped a 27-game drought for the 24-year-old -- his only other long ball in 2024 came back on March 30. Despite the power outage, Baty has taken a big step forward in his development this year, and through 30 contests he's slashing .271/.340/.385, a massive improvement on last season's .212/.275/.323 line.     Josh Rojas picked up three hits in a loss Friday to the Astros.

    Advice: Rojas singled all three times. It’s been an outstanding beginning to the 2024 campaign for the long-time Diamondback, as the three-hit game sees his average jump up to .338.     McMahon went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

    Advice: The 29-year-old led off the sixth inning by hammering a Martin Perez changeup out of PNC Park completely and into the Allegheny River, becoming only the second Colorado player in history to accomplish the feat after Todd Helton back in 2001. Three of McMahon's five homers this year have come in the last eight games, and the power surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .319/.407/.513 with 13 runs and 19 RBI in 32 contests.     Twins’ manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters on Friday that Royce Lewis (quad) has been progressing nicely in his recovery and has increased baseball activities in recent days.

    Advice: He’s now entering the fifth week of his recovery from a severe right quad strain and is tracking towards meeting that initial eight-week estimate that he was given when he sustained the injury.
