  • Continues to dominate
    Imanaga (5-0) tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over the Mets. He allowed three hits and a walk, while striking out seven.

    Advice: Imanaga continued the amazing start to his MLB career, as he now has a stellar 0.78 ERA across 34.2 innings to go along with 35 strikeouts. The lefty has allowed zero earned runs in four of his six appearances so far, and the most he's allowed in an outing was the two earned runs he gave up back on April 20. While it seems unlikely that Imanaga will be able to keep up this incredible pace, it does look like he's already cemented himself as a fantasy star this season.   • Kutter Crawford fans six in victory over Giants
    Kutter Crawford delivered a strong performance in Wednesday night’s victory over the Giants, allowing two runs on four hits over his seven frames.

    Advice: Crawford punched out six batters on the evening while surrendering a pair of free passes. He served up a solo homer to Tom Murphy leading off the third inning, then allowed an RBI bunt single to Mike Yastrzemski in the fourth inning. That was the extent of the damage against him. Crawford got 12 swings and misses on 92 pitches in the contest, six on his cutter, while registering a CSW of 29 percent. Now 2-1 on the season, he’ll carry a brilliant 1.56 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 40/13 K/BB ratio (40 1/3 innings) into a tough matchup against the Braves in Atlanta on Tuesday. Rotoworld Today, 7:03 pm
  • Daulton Jefferies surrenders four runs in loss
    Daulton Jefferies was saddled with his second loss of the season on Wednesday, surrendering four runs on five hits over 2 2/3 innings of work against the Red Sox.

    Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander took over after Erik Miller worked a scoreless first inning on Wednesday, and it didn’t take him long to surrender the Giants’ early 1-0 lead. He allowed a pair of runs in the third inning on an RBI double by Rafael Devers and a run-scoring ground out by Rob Refsnyder. The Red Sox scratched out two more runs while chasing Jefferies in the fourth inning. With a 17.36 ERA and 3.43 WHIP over 4 2/3 innings in two appearances with the Giants, it seems likely that he’ll be sent right back to Triple-A Sacramento. Rotoworld Today, 6:57 pm
  • José Buttó strikes out six in quality start vs. Cubs
    José Buttó allowed one run with six strikeouts across six innings in a loss against the Cubs on Wednesday.

    Advice: Buttó was excellent on Wednesday, holding Chicago to just one run in a quality start. A double and a wild pitch put a runner on third in the fifth inning before Pete Crow-Armstrong drove in the run on a sacrifice fly. It was the third time in five starts Buttó has gone six innings with no more than one run allowed.   • Dakota Hudson pitches well in loss to Marlins
    Dakota Hudson pitched well in a losing effort against the Marlins on Wednesday night, allowing just two runs on five hits across 5 2/3 frames.

    Advice: The 29-year-old right-hander walked two batters and struck out a pair on the evening. All of the scoring done against him came in the fifth inning, as Luis Arraez roped an RBI single to center and then scored on an RBI double off the bat of Bryan De La Cruz. Hudson got six whiffs on 78 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 26 percent. Now 0-5 on the season, he’ll try again to get into the win column as he carries a 5.93 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and an 18/17 K/BB ratio (30 1/3 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the Giants in Colorado.   • Luis Gil out-duels Corbin Burnes to beat Orioles
    Luis Gil out-dueled Corbin Burnes on Wednesday evening in Baltimore, scattering just two hits over 6 1/3 innings of shutout baseball.

    Advice: The right-hander racked up five strikeouts on the night while allowing only one base on balls. Both of the hits against him in the contest were singles and the O’s never really mounted a serious scoring threat against him. Gil generated nine whiffs on 95 pitches on the night — six of those on his fastball which averaged 95.8 mph — while posting a CSW of 26 percent. The 25-year-old hurler has made a major impact in the Yankees’ rotation through the first month-plus of the season, going 2-1 with a 3.19 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 40/20 K/BB ratio over 31 innings through his first six starts.     Corbin Burnes logged a quality start in Wednesday’s loss to the Yankees, giving up just two runs on four hits over six strong innings of work.

    Advice: The Orioles’ ace struck out six batters on the night while issuing only one base on balls. All of the damage done against him — and in the game — came on a two-out, two-run homer off the bat of Oswaldo Cabrera in the fifth inning that just barely stayed fair and creeped over the wall in right field. Burnes got 14 swings and misses on 95 pitches in the contest — seven of those on his slider — while registering an elite CSW of 34 percent.     Wentz worked around a hit and a walk to pitch a scoreless inning of relief and earn a hold in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals. He struck out one.

    Advice: Wentz has pitched well all season in relief, and he now has his first hold to show for it. The lefty has a miniscule 0.79 ERA across 11.1 innings and he's struck out 14. The move to the bullpen has done wonders for Wentz, as he struggled mightily as a starter last year, posting a 6.80 ERA and 1.68 WHIP across 105.2 innings.   • Dodgers option Landon Knack to Triple-A
    Dodgers optioned RHP Landon Knack to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

    Advice: While it’s not official, this move would seemingly indicate that Walker Buehler will step into the Dodgers’ rotation the next time that Knack’s spot comes around. Knack, 26, did a terrific job in his limited action with the Dodgers, posting a 2.81 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and an 11/5 K/BB ratio over 16 innings in his three starts. Rotoworld Today, 5:30 pm
