      Senga (shoulder) completed a 32-pitch live batting practice session Saturday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

      Advice: Facing hitters in extended live BP session marks a major milestone in Senga's recovery from a right posterior shoulder capsule strain, which caused him to miss most of spring training and resulted in him opening the season on the 15-day injured list before he was shifted to the 60-day IL on April 10. He won't be eligible to make his season debut until May 27, but Senga appears on target to return on or around that date based on where he currently stands in his recovery. The Mets will see how he bounces back from Saturday's throwing session over the next couple of days before deciding whether he's ready to report to a minor-league affiliate to begin a rehab assignment, or if he'll need to throw another live BP before doing so.       Advice: Senga has now faced live hitters twice this week. There’s a very good chance he does begin that assignment at this point, however, and he’s on track to make his return around May 27 — the earliest Senga can be activated off the 60-day IL.       Advice: Kopech entered the game in the ninth inning with the score tied 5-5. He struggled with his control -- he hit a batter in addition to the free pass he issued -- but ultimately escaped for this third scoreless effort in his last four appearances.       Advice: There was a rain delay before the game and more inclement weather during the contest, but Suarez seemed undaunted as he became the first six-game winner in baseball (Tyler Glasnow joined him later Saturday). It speaks to how well Suarez has pitched this season that this was easily his worst start since his first outing of the season when he allowed three runs in five innings. The three runs the left-hander gave up Saturday matched his total from his previous five starts. With a matchup versus the Marlins looming next week, Suarez has a good chance to keep rolling. He finished with a season-high eight strikeouts and didn’t hand out a free pass.       Ruiz suffered a wrist injury on a diving catch in the sixth inning of Saturday's win over the Marlins and was removed from the game, MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Ruiz appeared to hurt his glove hand and remained down for a brief time following the catch, cradling his left wrist as he exited the field with team trainers.       Bryson Stott went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI on Saturday, powering the Phillies to a dominant 14-3 victory over the Giants.

      Advice: Stott delivered a pair of run-scoring hits in the first and second innings of this one as Philadelphia scored nine runs combined in those frames to open the contest. He also walked twice in the one-sided affair to reach base safely in four of his five plate appearances at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park. The 26-year-old second baseman hasn’t exactly come out of the gate on fire, but he holds a respectable .240/.330/.375 triple-slash line with three homers, 16 RBI and six steals through 30 games.       Ranger Suárez gave up three runs over six innings on Saturday in a win over the Giants.

      Advice: Suárez was staked to a commanding nine-run advantage by the start of the third inning at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park, and wound up cruising to a relatively easy victory, gobbling up six frames before handing an 11-run lead over to Philadelphia’s bullpen. The 28-year-old southpaw isn’t overpowering, but he’s been extremely effective this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in seven consecutive starts. He’ll bring a sparkling 1.72 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 46/6 K/BB ratio across 47 innings (seven starts) into a road tilt next Saturday against the free-falling Marlins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:15 pm
