    • Out with hamstring strain
The Dodgers placed Phillips on the 15-day injured list Sunday, retroactive to May 4, with a right hamstring strain, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Advice: The right-hander presumably suffered the injury during Friday's appearance against Atlanta, when he struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning amid a 2-2 tie. Manager Dave Roberts said Phillips' injury is a Grade 1 strain, per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, so the absence may not be a lengthy one. Daniel Hudson is the likely favorite to fill in at closer for the Dodgers. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago

    • Dodgers place Phillips on IL with hamstring injury
Dodgers placed RHP Evan Phillips on the 15-day injured list with a hamstring strain.

Advice: This is a substantial loss to the Dodgers’ bullpen and for fantasy managers who roster Phillips. The right-hander will be out of action for at least two weeks, and managers will want to make sure to follow for further updates on his status. Blake Treinen was activated off the injured list in the corresponding transaction, and he’s someone who could see save chances with Phillips out. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

    • Snaps team scoreless streak
Steer went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Steer's ninth-inning single plated Cincinnati's lone run -- his team-leading 23rd RBI -- and snapped the club's 26-inning scoreless streak at home. The Reds, which started five players batting .200 or lower, have had issues scoring of late, batting .185 with 78 strikeouts over the last eight games (six losses). Steer's .333 average and .639 slugging with runners in scoring position could be more helpful if the Reds can get on base in front of him. The club ranks 27th in MLB with a .292 on-base percentage. • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. not starting Sunday vs. Padres
Lourdes Gurriel is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Padres.

Advice: Gurriel Jr. gets a rare day off for the Sunday finale against the Padres. While he rests the Diamondbacks will have Jake McCarthy hit leadoff and play left field. Rotoworld Today, 8:46 am
    • Four hits in team debut
Arraez went 4-for-6 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Arraez wasted no time in establishing a good first impression with his new team, smacking a leadoff double on the second pitch he saw from Brandon Pfaadt in the opening frame before coming around to score San Diego's first run of the contest. The newly acquired infielder would add another three singles on the night, with the latter one leading to an eight-run seventh inning for the Padres. It marked Arraez's second game this season with four hits, and he's now registered at least one knock in seven straight. Rotowire.com Today, 7:32 am

    • Stays hot in win
Pages went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's blowout win over Atlanta.

Advice: Pages jumped on a hanging four-seamer from Bryce Elder to lead off the bottom of the fourth and launched it 412 feet into the stands in center field for his fourth home run of the season, and second in his last three games. The rookie outfielder also added a single in the contest, giving him back-to-back multi-hit games. Pages has been on an absolute tear at the plate throughout his now 10-game hitting streak, batting .418 (18-for-43) over that stretch with three homers, nine RBI and nine runs scored. He's also tallied at least one RBI in three straight games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:21 am

    • Hurls six shutout frames in win
King (3-3) earned the win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, allowing six hits over six shutout innings while striking out three.

Advice: King surrendered hits to three of the first four batters he faced in the contest but was able to work his way out of it before retiring the next 11 batters in succession. The right-hander didn't issue a walk for the first time this season, though his three strikeouts on the night also marked a season low. King had allowed at least four runs in back-to-back starts coming in and in three of his last four overall, taking three consecutive losses over that stretch. However, he's now posted three quality starts on the season and has gone at least five innings in five of his last six outings. Rotowire.com Today, 5:58 am

    • Fans seven over six frames
Littell allowed one run on six hits while striking out seven over six frames in a no-decision against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: The only run Littell allowed on the night came across in the first inning after the right-hander allowed a leadoff double to Brandon Nimmo to open the frame, followed by an RBI single from Starling Marte. From there, Littell would go on to retire 10 of the next 11 batters he faced, with six of those batters going down on strikes. It marked his fourth start this season in which he's allowed one run or fewer and he's now gone six innings in three straight, posting a 20:0 K:BB over that stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 5:25 am
    • Takes third straight loss
Detmers (3-3) took the loss against Cleveland on Saturday, allowing seven runs on five hits and four walks while striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Detmers entered the sixth inning with a quality start still in sight, as he had allowed three runs to that point. However, the left-hander got himself into trouble by walking three batters in the frame, and Bo Naylor made the hurler pay with a grand slam to blow the game open. The seven runs, three homers and four free passes were all season-worst marks for Detmers, who was tagged with his third consecutive loss. The 24-year-old looked to be on his way to a breakout campaign by posting a 1.19 ERA and 30:7 K:BB over 22.2 innings across his first four starts, but he's stumbled since, allowing 16 earned runs and recording a 14:7 K:BB over 17.2 frames in his past three outings.
