    • Goes seven strong to earn win
Eovaldi (3-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings against the Giants. He struck out five.

Advice: Eovaldi was staked to a 5-0 lead after two innings and cruised through seven, merely allowing single runs in each of the third and fourth innings as he rolled to his third victory. More importantly, he was also extended to near his full workload, completing seven innings on 90 pitches after tossing 37 and 71 in his previous two starts following a nearly four-week stint on the IL with a groin injury. It was the seventh start out of 10 for Eovaldi with at least five innings while allowing two or fewer runs. He'll carry a 2.68 ERA and 1.09 WHIP into his next start, likely to take place next weekend when the Rangers travel to Seattle for a showdown against the Mariners. • Takes loss in quality start
Littell (2-4) took the loss Sunday against the Orioles, allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk across six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Littell had to work for his third straight quality start, stranding five batters and allowing four extra-base hits, including a fourth-inning solo homer by Anthony Santander. Littell has surrendered a home run in five straight starts and owns a 4.55 ERA with a 24:5 K:BB across 29.2 innings. He's tentatively scheduled for a road start in Atlanta on Friday. • Zack Littell has quality start in loss to Orioles
Zack Littell allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: The right-hander also struck out three and walked one as he worked around the zone all day long with a 28 percent CSW. However, he was only able to get eight whiffs on 45 swings for an 18 percent whiff rate while allowing 12 hard-hit baseballs. It feels like a game that could have gone much worse for him, so he’ll be thankful to take a 3.63 ERA into another tough matchup with the Braves next week. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:38 pm

    • Eovaldi looks solid in win over Giants
Nathan Eovaldi allowed two runs on five hits in seven innings in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Eovaldi also struck out five and walked one on the day. He pounded the zone regularly on the day with a 37 percent CSW and 24 percent whiff rate and his only real mistake was a solo home run to Mike Yastrzemski. The veteran will take a 2.68 ERA into a good start against the Mariners next week. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:30 pm

    • Tyler Anderson allows four runs in loss to Astros
Tyler Anderson was tagged for four runs over six innings on Saturday in a loss to the Astros.

Advice: Anderson’s run of five consecutive quality starts since May 11 came to an end in this one as Jose Altuve and Jake Meyers delivered early run-scoring singles before Yordan Alvarez took him deep for a two-run blast in the fifth inning. He finished with three strikeouts and only issued one walk. He’ll bring a strong 2.63 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 53/33 K/BB ratio across 82 innings (13 starts) into a road tilt on Thursday against the struggling Diamondbacks. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:13 am
    • Yields four runs in loss
Anderson (5-6) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over six innings to take the loss versus the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Anderson gave up two runs in each of the third and fifth innings. He threw 60 of 90 pitches for strikes, but this was the first time in five starts he allowed more than one run. It was just the second time he's been on the hook for four runs this year. The southpaw is at a 2.63 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 53:33 K:BB over 82 innings through 13 starts in 2024. Anderson's surface stats look close to his career year from 2022, but his 4.70 FIP and .218 BABIP suggest he's been very fortunate in 2024. Given his high walk rate, Anderson is a risky pitcher to roster in fantasy over the rest of the season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:51 pm
    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:33 pm

    • Camilo Doval locks down 11th save vs. Rangers
Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save against the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Doval was summoned with a two-run lead to close out the game in the ninth. He walked the leadoff man and gave up a single to bring the go-ahead run to the plate with one out. He induced a groundout and a fly out to end the game and secure the win for the Giants, picking up his 11th save. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:49 pm

    • Notches 14th save
Kimbrel worked a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 14th save of the season in a 6-3 win over the Rays. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.

Advice: The veteran closer let his defense do the work, getting outs on a flyball, a groundball and a popup in foul territory. Kimbrel hasn't been tagged with an earned run in 10 straight appearances, converting all six of his save chances during that stretch with a 10:0 K:BB as he puts his early season struggles behind him.
