    • Picks up fourth save
Sewald earned the save in a win over the Marlins on Saturday, striking out one over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald had no issues running through the bottom of Miami's lineup to secure the save, needing just nine pitches to get the job done. The right-handed reliever remains perfect on the season in save opportunities and hasn't allowed a run since his first relief appearance back on May 7 (spanning six appearances). Sewald has also recorded at least one strikeout in three straight outings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:26 am

    • Sewald records four save against Marlins Saturday
Paul Sewald tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Sewald has allowed one run with seven strikeouts and one walk in seven appearances and converted all four of his save opportunities since coming off the injured list. Fantasy managers that held Sewald since the beginning of the year can’t ask for much more than what they’re getting right now. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:17 pm

    • Sitting down Saturday
D'Arnaud isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.

Advice: After going 2-for-4 with two RBI during Friday's loss, d'Arnaud will take a seat Saturday while Chadwick Tromp starts behind the plate, batting eighth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:17 am

    • Report: Nathan Eovaldi unlikely to return Sunday
Jeff Wilson of Rangers Today reports Nathan Eovaldi (groin) is unlikely to return this weekend.

Advice: Eovaldi is progressing towards a return from the injured list, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll return this weekend, as the Rangers are most likely going to roll with a bullpen game for Sunday’s series finale against the Twins. There should be some additional clarity on his return timetable at some point this weekend. Rotoworld Saturday, 6:55 am
    • Picks up ninth save
Doval gave up a run on two hits and a walk while striking out one in the ninth inning Friday to record his ninth save of the season in an 8-7 win over the Mets.

Advice: The Giants scored six of their runs in the eighth and ninth innings to create the save chance, but Doval very nearly squandered it following a leadoff double by pinch hitter DJ Stewart and a fielding error by Marco Luciano. It was the first earned run the right-hander has allowed since May 8 at Coors Field, and on the season Doval carries a 3.05 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 27:15 K:BB through 20.2 innings while converting nine of 10 save opportunities. • Stays hot at plate
Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Athletics.

Advice: Alvarez extended his hitting streak to six games, three of which have been multi-hit efforts. He also has five extra-base hits in that span, an important step forward in his production given his surprisingly low .192 ISO across 219 plate appearances to start the campaign. • Craig Kimbrel earns save after near-miss homer
Craig KImbrel picked up his 11th save with a perfect ninth against the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Sort of perfect anyway, given that it took Colton Cowser robbing Tommy Pham of a homer to end the game. Still, even if that ball had managed to get over Cowser’s glove in center, Kimbrel did have another run to play with. It goes as Kimbrel’s sixth straight hitless and walkless appearance. • Blasts homer Friday
Soto went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and a walk in Friday's 8-0 win over the Padres.

Advice: Soto's homer stretched the Yankees' lead to 3-0 in the third inning. The superstar outfielder has gone 11-for-27 (.407) with five homers and nine RBI over his last seven contests. This was his fourth multi-hit effort in that span, lifting his slash line to .315/.413/.581 through 53 games this season. Soto has added 14 homers, 43 RBI, 39 runs scored, four stolen bases, 10 doubles and a triple. The Yankees have won 10 of their last 12 games, and Soto's been doing his part to contribute to that success. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:42 pm

    • Juan Soto homers, doubles against former club
Juan Soto homered and doubled in the Yankees’ 8-0 rout of the Padres on Friday.

Advice: Revenge game? Soto was facing his former club, and he kept doing what he’s done for the overwhelming majority of 2024. The 25-year-old scorched one of four homers Yu Darvish gave up on the evening, and he’s gone deep 14 times in his first year in New York. Soto also doubled and walked, and any questions about how he’d handle the pressure of New York have been answered with a resounding “pretty easily.” Rotoworld Friday, 9:26 pm
