      Casas received an MRI on Monday to check the healing of his injured ribs, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

      Advice: The results aren't expected to be known until Tuesday, but Casas noted that he's feeling good and should have a "quick turnaround" before he resumes swinging a bat, per Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald. Casas has been doing some baseball activities but hasn't progressed as quickly as hoped. He's continuing to aim for a return from the 60-day injured list early next week, but even if the MRI yields favorable results, Casas could still face an uphill battle to make it back by his target date.       Advice: Fry's status heading into the series opener in Baltimore was somewhat murky after he was forced out of Sunday's 6-5 win over Toronto with right elbow inflammation, but the 29-year-old is apparently feeling well enough to stick in the lineup Monday in a non-defensive role. Once the elbow issue fully subsides, expect Fry to mix in behind the plate and in the corner outfield along with at DH as the Guardians make a concerted effort to keep his productive bat in the lineup.       Advice: Cruz made plenty of highlights Saturday by blasting a home run into the Allegheny River, but he's slumped with only two hits across 19 at-bats during Pittsburgh's current homestand.       Langford went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

      Advice: The story of the game was the return of Max Scherzer to the mound, but Langford also contributed to the Rangers' fourth straight win. His fourth-inning double plated Texas' first run and he came home on Leody Taveras' two-run single.       Advice: Guerrero launched a two-run home run in the top of first inning off Triston McKenzie, giving Toronto an early lead. He later singled and came around to score on a base knock by Addison Barger in the top of the fifth. The homer was his ninth of the season and second of the three-game series with Cleveland.       Francisco Lindor clobbered a two-run homer and stole a base on Sunday night, helping to lead the Mets to a 5-2 victory over the Cubs in Chicago.
