    • Shows power and speed in win
Kim went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk, a steal and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Kim's first hit of the night was a base hit in the fourth, during which he stole second and came around to score on a double from Fernando Tatis. Kim then destroyed a 393-foot blast to center field in the seventh to extend the lead to 9-0. Kim now has just two stolen bases since April 23 and has yet to reach double digits this year after being seventh in baseball in 2023 with 38 thefts. He's still struggling to make consistent contact, as he's slashing just .212/.325/.370 with six homers, 22 RBI, 24 runs and a 27:34 BB:K in 195 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:04 am

    • Ha-Seong Kim has jack and a bag in win on Sunday
Ha-Seong Kim homered, swiped a base, walked and scored a pair of runs on Sunday night, leading the Padres in a 9-1 shellacking of the Braves in Atlanta.

Advice: Kim led off the fourth inning with a single off of Bryce Elder, swiped second base and scored on a two-run double off the bat of Fernando Tatis Jr. He then walloped a 393-foot (100.7 mph EV) solo shot off of Ray Kerr in the seventh inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 9-0. The dynamic 28-year-old is now hitting .213/.326/.372 on the season to go along with six homers, 22 RBI and nine stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:05 pm

    • Arraez back in the lineup Friday
Arraez is back in the Padres lineup, hitting leadoff against the Braves on Friday.

Advice: Arraez had a routine day off on Wednesday as the Padres faced Rockies left-hander Austin Gomber. He’s back in there as the designated hitter and leadoff man for Friday’s game. Rotoworld Friday, 12:51 pm

    • Luis Arraez not in Padres’ lineup on Wednesday
Luis Arraez is not in the Padres’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s tilt against the Rockies.

Advice: It looks to be nothing more than a routine day of rest for the two-time defending batting champion. Manny Machado will function as the team’s designated hitter on Wednesday while Donovan Solano will draw a start at third base and bat sixth against left-hander Austin Gomber and the Rockies. Jurickson Profar will slide up to the leadoff spot in the Padres’ lineup. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:00 pm

    • Taking seat Wednesday
Arraez is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: Arraez will get his second day off since he was acquired from the Marlins earlier this month. The Padres will have Manny Machado fill the designated hitter spot while Donovan Solano covers third base. Jurickson Profar will bat leadoff in Arraez's stead. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:18 am

    • In Monday's lineup
Kim (wrist) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Monday's game versus the Rockies.

Advice: Kim was removed from Sunday's game against the Dodgers after being hit by a pitch on his left wrist. However, X-rays came back clean and he won't wind up missing any starts. Rotowire.com May 13, 3:29 pm

    • Goes deep in loss
Toro went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Toro launched his fourth home run of the year to begin the sixth off Luis Castillo. It's a continuation of what's been a ridiculously hot stretch at the plate for Toro. Over his last 16 games, the 27-year-old is slashing .410/.455/.607 with two homers, nine RBI and 12 runs scored. He has led off in six straight games, all against righties, and has been more of a middle-of-the-order hitter against southpaws. For the season, Toro is now slashing .299/.351/.460 with 13 extra-base hits, 17 RBI, 20 runs and a 7:26 BB:K in 148 plate appearances. Rotowire.com May 13, 4:17 am

    • Dealing with wrist injury
Kim was hit by a pitch on his left wrist in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Kim took a 94 mph fastball from Walker Buehler off his left wrist in the bottom of the fourth inning, ultimately exiting the contest the following frame. The infielder underwent X-rays on his arm following the contest that came back negative, according to manager Mike Shildt, which bodes well for Kim moving forward. The 28-year-old can be considered day-to-day for the time being ahead of San Diego's three-game series with the Rockies at home beginning Monday. Rotowire.com May 12, 4:16 pm
