      Advice: Woo finally showed some signs of weakness Sunday, surrendering his first home run of the season and allowing a season-high three earned runs. Even so, the 24-year-old needed just 70 pitches to notch his second consecutive quality start. Despite not topping 80 pitches in any outing this season, Woo sits at 2-0 with a sparkling 1.66 ERA and 0.60 WHIP in 21.2 innings this season.       Bryan Woo pitched six innings and allowed three runs Sunday versus the Nationals.

      Advice: Woo got just three missed swings and one strikeout today, but he proved moderately effective in allowing only five hard-hit balls and five hits.     • Scoreless streak ends in loss
      Crochet (5-5) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out 11 over six innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Orioles.

      Advice: Crochet was able to extend his scoreless streak to 24 innings, which began with his last two frames versus the Cardinals on May 5. It came to a close when Adley Rutschman took him deep in the sixth inning of Sunday's contest, and that was enough to snap Crochet's four-start winning streak as well. On the bright side, he earned a fifth straight quality start and reached double-digit strikeouts for the third time this year.     • Tosses seven no-hit innings
      Bradish (1-0) earned the win over the White Sox on Sunday, pitching seven no-hit and scoreless innings. He walked four and struck out 11.

      Advice: The start of the game was delayed due to rain, but that didn't throw Bradish out of his rhythm. He threw 63 of 103 pitches for strikes while generating 13 whiffs. While the four walks were a season high for the right-hander, it's nothing to be concerned about given his overall dominance in the contest. He's now at a 1.75 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 34:11 K:BB through 25.2 innings across five starts this season. Bradish is projected to make his next start at home versus the Rays.     • Garrett Crochet takes tough luck loss on Sunday
      Garrett Crochet allowed two runs on three hits over six innings in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

      Advice: Crochet struck out 11 and walked just one, but the two-run homer he allowed to Adley Rutschman in the sixth inning proved to be the difference in the game. The left-hander tied the Orioles up all day, getting 18 whiffs for a 38 percent whiff rate and 37 percent CSW. He now has a 3.68 ERA on the season with 85 strikeouts in 63 2/3 innings. Anybody who dropped him after his poor three-start stretch against the Twins, Phillies, and Reds in mid-April is probably kicking themselves now as Crochet has allowed just five total earned runs in six starts since then.     • Bradish overpowers White Sox in win on Sunday
      Kyle Bradish threw seven shutout innings in a win over the White Sox on Sunday, walking four and striking out 11.

      Advice: Bradish’s fastball velocity was down a bit, but he was still sitting 94.8 mph and induced 13 whiffs for a 31 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. While he was also facing the White Sox, Bradish has looked every bit the pitcher we saw last year and now has a 1.75 ERA. He also has an elbow injury that has not been surgically repaired, so there will continue to be an aura of risk that surrounds him. Unless you’d prefer to trade him to avoid the headache, your only real chance is to keep starting him while he’s throwing this well and just hope he stays healthy.       Miller notched his 10th save of the season Saturday, striking out the side in a 4-1 win over the Astros.

      Advice: Miller was coming off his worst appearance of the season his last time out against the Rockies, but he had no such trouble in this one. The flamethrower needed 15 pitches to dispose of the Astros in order, topping out at 102.2 mph with his fastball. Miller has struck out multiple batters in 14 of 18 outings this season.       Singer allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings in a no-decision versus the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: The Royals jumped out to a 2-0 lead after three innings, but Singer gave it back before his exit. The right-hander threw 57 of 90 pitches for strikes in a decent outing. He's been sharp this season, allowing one earned run or zero in eight of his 11 starts en route to a 2.63 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 64:19 K:BB through 61.2 innings.       Brady Singer accumulated five innings while allowing two runs — one earned — in a start against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Singer’s results were fine, but he had to work hard for them while throwing 90 pitches. He walked two and struck out three, with the only earned run coming on a Jonathan Aranda homer.
