There’s optimism that he’ll be ready to return early next week, but he’s going to get a couple more minor-league games under his belt this weekend to continue knocking off the rust.       Marcus Semien singled on Friday in his return to the Rangers’ lineup.

      Advice: Semien was held out of the lineup for Wednesday’s series finale against the Diamondbacks due to some lingering general soreness following a collision with teammate Adolis García earlier this month. He also managed to collect his ninth and 10th RBI as a Padre with a two-run RBI knock in the eighth inning.       Advice: Iglesias notched his 14th save of the year with a fascinating outing. He gave up a leadoff double to Zack Gelof before recording three outs on three consecutive pitches. Gelof would come in to score after two straight groundouts but Atlanta secured the 4-2 win. Iglesias has converted six straight save chances and owns a 2.53 ERA through 21.1 innings.       Lopez (3-2) yielded a run on four hits and two walks over six innings Friday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Athletics.

      Advice: Lopez worked around some trouble throughout the contest and turned in one of his best starts of the year.
