    • Kodai Senga tabbed for live bullpen on Saturday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is scheduled to throw another live bullpen session on Saturday.

Advice: Senga faced live hitters on Monday without any issues, and he’ll repeat the process once again on Saturday. If all goes well there, he could be ready to begin a minor league rehab assignment. Barring any setbacks, he plans to be ready to rejoin the Mets’ rotation as soon as he’s eligible to do so on May 27. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:31 pm

    • Stuck with loss Tuesday
Lopez (2-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Mariners, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings.

Advice: Lopez struck out the side to begin his night en route to tying his season-high in strikeouts. He pitched well overall, but there was not much he could do with Atlanta not scoring until the eighth inning. His one costly mistake came in the third after allowing a two-run blast to Jorge Polanco and the Mariners would tack on a third run in the fourth, which proved to be the deciding run in the game. Tuesday was the first time Lopez had failed to pitch at least six innings and surrender more than a run. He's now given up a home run in back-to-back outings. Still, the 30-year-old has been nothing short of spectacular through the first month, posting a 1.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB in 30 innings. He currently lines up for a meeting with the Red Sox early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:37 am

    • Punches out seven
Gore (2-3) was hit with the loss Tuesday versus Texas after giving up two earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven batters across five innings.

Advice: Gore managed to keep the Rangers off the scoreboard for the first three innings, but an RBI single from Jonah Heim in the fourth followed by a fielder's choice in the fifth was all it took for Texas to take the lead over Washington and hand Gore his third consecutive loss. Despite his record, the 25-year-old lefty still owns a 3.19 ERA and 1.35 WHIP on the year and has struck out at least six batters in four of his six starts. He's projected to start on the mound again Sunday against Toronto. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:01 am

    • Reynaldo López allows three over five in loss
Reynaldo López allowed three runs in five innings while picking up a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: López allowed six hits over those five frames, and he struck out seven while walking three with Josh Rojas getting all three free passes. The 30-year-old pitched better than his line suggested, but a two-run homer by Jorge Polanco turned an excellent outing into a shaky one from a fantasy perspective. Lopez still has an excellent 1.50 ERA, and he should be in fantasy lineups against Boston next week. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:47 pm

    • MacKenzie Gore strikes out seven Rangers in loss
MacKenzie Gore allowed two earned runs on five hits while striking out seven in Tuesday’s loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Fantasy managers couldn’t have hoped for much more out of Gore against a potent Rangers lineup. Despite getting saddled with a tough loss, Gore allowed just seven total base runners over five innings but fell victim to the long ball on solo blasts from Jonah Heim and Josh Smith. Gore struck out six or more batters in four of his six starts this month and is now sporting a 3.19 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. He’s been a pleasant surprise for the Nationals thus far and will look to continue his hot start in his next outing, which is slated for Sunday against the Blue Jays. • Hits mid-90s in bullpen
Senga (shoulder) reached the mid-90s with his fastball during Monday's bullpen against live hitters and used all of his pitches in the session, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Mets have been very deliberate so far with Senga's recovery from a shoulder capsule strain, but the organization's patience seems to be paying off. While the right-hander feels he will be back in the big-league rotation right around when he's first eligible to come off the IL on May 27, general manager David Stearns wouldn't sign off on that timeline, indicating Monday that he couldn't say whether Senga would be back in late May or early June. The 31-year-old is set to face live hitters two more times before beginning a rehab assignment around May 11. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:06 am

    • Senga faces hitters, expects to return when eligible
Kodai Senga (shoulder) faced hitters Monday for the first time since February.

Advice: Senga told reporters that he expects to be able to return from the 60-day injured list when eligible, which would be May 27 in this case. The right-hander continues to make steady progress from the injury, and the next step will likely be a rehab assignment starting in the next week or so. Great news for fantasy managers who have remained patient with Senga in their injured list spot. Rotoworld Monday, 1:30 pm

    • Aiming to return when eligible
Senga (shoulder) threw a 21-pitch live batting practice session Monday and said afterward that he thinks he'll return from the 60-day injured list around when he's first eligible to be activated May 27, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Working his way back from a shoulder capsule strain, Senga also added that he will need to face hitters two more times before beginning a rehab assignment. That should put him on track for his first rehab start in early May, with a return before the end of the month being a possibility if all goes according to plan. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:51 pm

    • Solid start against Mets
Lynn didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Mets, allowing one run on five hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out three batters.

Advice: Lynn walked at least three batters for the third time in his last four starts. However, the only run charged against him came on a solo home run by Francisco Lindor in the sixth. During his last four appearances, Lynn owns a 2.05 ERA with 17 strikeouts and 11 walks over 22.0 innings. He's lined up for a start against the White Sox on Saturday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:29 pm
