    • Leaves yard Tuesday
Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Polanco opened up the scoring with a two-run shot to right off Reynaldo Lopez in the third inning. Polanco had not driven in any runs since he last homered back on April 15. He's now reached base in five straight games, though he has struck out seven times over his last 12 at-bats. It's been a very slow campaign at the dish so far for Polanco, who's now slashing .170/.314/.290 with four homers, 10 RBI, 11 runs and a 20:37 BB:K in 121 plate appearances. • Jorge Polanco hits two-run homer against Atlanta
Jorge Polanco hit a two-run homer in Seattle’s victory over Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: Polanco gave Seattle a 2-0 lead with a homer off Reynaldo López, and it’s the fourth homer of the season for the second baseman. The former Minnesota Twin stalwart has gotten off to a slow start with just a .176 average and .290 slugging mark, but it seems very likely the results will kick into high gear over the next few weeks/months. • Delivers run in loss
Suarez went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Suarez was involved in Arizona's three-run fifth inning, plating a run with a single. His bat has slumbered to start the season (.229 average, .634 OPS), but the third baseman has managed to deliver with runners on base. Suarez is third on the club with 18 RBI, fueled by a .414 average with runners in scoring position. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:26 am

    • Adds another steal
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with one RBI, a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ramirez didn't run much early in the campaign, but he's gotten back to it with all four of his steals this year coming over the last eight games. He's gone 9-for-32 (.281) in that span while adding nine RBI and four extra-base hits. Overall, the star third baseman is doing fine with a .259/.276/.455 slash line, five home runs, 24 RBI and 19 runs scored over 116 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:05 am
    • José Ramírez drives in four in win over Red Sox
José Ramírez went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a steal in a win over the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Ramirez crushed a second-inning pitch from Chase Anderson 384 feet at 107.8 mph off the bat for his fifth home run of the season. He’s now slashing .260/.271/.471 on the season with 23 RBI and three steals. Ramirez has been hyper-aggressive this season, raising his chase rate and his overall swing rate by 10 percent. As a result, he has just a two percent walk rate and is making less hard contact than he did last year. He still makes an elite amount of contact, but you do have to wonder if the increased aggression will make it harder for him to reach that .280-.300 batting average that we’re used to seeing. • Powers Cleveland to win
Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a grand slam, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Ramirez extended the Guardians' lead to 5-0 in the second inning, blasting a two-out grand slam on the 10th pitch of the at-bat from Chase Anderson. While it had been a slow start to the year by Ramirez's standards, he now has six extra-base hits, including three home runs, and three stolen bases in his last 10 contests. The veteran third baseman is now slashing .260/.271/.471 with five home runs, 23 RBI and 18 runs scored across 107 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 1:28 pm
    • Contributes stolen base Wednesday
Polanco went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in a loss to the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Polanco's struggles at the plate continued for the most part, with his average now sitting at a paltry .175 through 99 plate appearances. However, the veteran also sports a surprisingly solid .333 on-base percentage that's largely the result of his 18.9 percent walk rate. The free pass he drew Wednesday also led to his first stolen base of the campaign, and the combination of Polanco's career-low .234 BABIP and above-average 24.0 percent line-drive rate seems to imply his luck when putting the ball in play should start to turn soon. • Adds insurance with homer
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Ramirez's bat is coming around -- he's hit safely in seven of his last eight games, going 8-for-32 (.250) with two homers and nine RBI in that span. For the season, he's slashing .240/.253/.427 with four homers, 19 RBI, 16 runs scored, a stolen base, four doubles and a triple through 22 games. Ramirez remains firmly in the heart of the order and continues to be regularly involved in run production, even with his lackluster on-base numbers so far. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:41 pm
    • José Ramírez homers, Guardians roll past Red Sox
José Ramírez walloped a solo homer on Tuesday, powering the Guardians to a 4-1 victory over the Red Sox.

Advice: Ramírez doubled Cleveland’s lead with an eighth-inning solo shot off Red Sox reliever Cam Booser. It was his fourth round-tripper of the season. He’s started to heat up over the last few contests, recording at least one hit in seven of his last eight games since April 14, and also has a pair of big flies during that span.
