    • Resuming rehab assignment
      Lowe (oblique/hamstring) will resume a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Thursday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

      Advice: Lowe, who opened the season on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain, was expected to be activated last weekend, but his return to the 26-man active roster was delayed after he experiencing right hamstring tightness in a rehab game at Durham. However, the feeling is that Lowe experienced only a minor setback, and he's since been cleared to return to game action.       Rays sent Josh Lowe (hamstring) on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham for Thursday.

      Advice: It’s been a frustrating process for the Rays and fantasy managers who have Lowe rostered. The 26-year-old outfielder was supposed to be activated from the injured list this past weekend, but hamstring tightness while rehabbing delayed his return. Lowe will rehab with Durham on Thursday and will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.     • Jarren Duran, has three hits, SB in win
      Jarren Durran went 3-for-4 with a run, an RBI, and a steal in a 4-0 win over the Giants on Tuesday.

      Advice: All three of Duran’s hits were singles but each of them was at least 107 mph off the bat. In fact, he had three of the six hardest-hit balls of the game. His stolen base was also his ninth of the season and the lead-off hitter is slashing .268/.338/.386. The power has not been there this year, but if Duran keeps hitting the ball hard and getting on base then he’s going to rack up steals and continue to be useful in fantasy leagues.       Advice: Duran led of the fourth inning with a single and stole his ninth base of the season before trotting home on Wilyer Abreu's triple. Duran has scuffled of late and entered the game batting .150 (6-for-40) over the previous nine contests. His nine thefts lead the Red Sox and are tied for sixth in MLB. This update from Cash is vague, so while it seems Lowe has managed to avoid a significant hamstring injury, the team has yet to provide a concrete timetable for the outfielder's return from the injured list.       Advice: Duran tripled in two runs in the sixth inning then drew a leadoff walk in the bottom of the ninth before scoring the winning run on Tyler O'Neill's walk-off single. Duran has started all 29 games thus far, including 27 of them as the team's leadoff batter. He's second on the Red Sox with 17 runs and leads the club in triples with three.       Jarren Duran went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a run scored as the Red Sox walked off the Cubs on Sunday night in Boston.

      Advice: Duran delivered a big pair of insurance runs in the sixth inning with a two-out, two-run triple off of Yency Almonte. He also worked a walk off of Mark Leiter Jr. to begin the ninth inning, then scored the game-winning run on Tyler O’Neill’s walk-off single.       Byron Buxton went 1-for-4 with three runs scored and picked up his first stolen base of the 2024 campaign as the Twins walloped the Angels on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

      Advice: Buxton reached on a fielder’s choice in the fourth inning and came around to score the first run of the game on an RBI single by Jose Miranda. The 30-year-old outfielder also drew a walk in the seventh inning and scored on a ground out by Carlos Santana. He finished his day with a single in the eighth inning, then swiped second base and scored on an RBI double by Miranda.
