    • Collects sixth save
Munoz earned a save against the Royals on Monday, striking out three batters in 1.1 perfect innings.

Advice: Munoz was summoned from the bullpen in the top of the eighth inning with two outs, Seattle up by two runs and the tying run at the plate. He struck out Nelson Velazquez to end the threat, then got some stress reduction when the Mariners' offense put up two runs in the bottom of the frame. From there, Munoz closed things out without incident, fanning two of the three batters he squared off against in the ninth frame. The save was his sixth of the season and first since April 30, though no other Seattle pitcher recorded a save in the meantime. Munoz has looked great since his lone blown save of the campaign April 21, tossing 9.1 scoreless frames during which he's posted a 10:1 K:BB across eight appearances. • Gives up two runs versus Dodgers
Hicks allowed two runs on seven hits and struck out four without walking a batter over five innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Monday.

Advice: Hicks wasn't particularly efficient Monday, throwing 56 of 93 pitches for strikes. He's failed to get past the fifth inning in all three of his starts in May after doing so in three of his first six outings of the year. The right-hander has pitched to a steady 2.44 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 39:16 K:BB through 48 innings this season. He's given up nine runs (seven earned) through 14 innings in May, albeit with less-than-ideal matchups and venues. Hicks' next start is projected to be at home versus the Rockies. • Jordan Hicks strong for six against Dodgers
Jordan Hicks pitched five innings of two-run ball before being lifted against the Dodgers on Monday.

Advice: Walks have been a problem for Hicks of late, but he issued none against a patient Dodgers lineup tonight. He struck out four, and he went a sixth straight start without giving a homer. His ERA stands at 2.44 after nine starts. Rotoworld Monday, 10:42 pm

    • Jorge Polanco leaves with hamstring tightness
Jorge Polanco was removed from Monday’s game against the Royals with tightness in his right hamstring.

Advice: Polanco exited the game and was replaced by Luis Urias, with Urias taking over at third and Josh Rojas moving to second. It’s a concerning development, especially for a hitter that has battled injuries over the last few years. There should be a further update on Polanco before Tuesday’s game against Kansas City. • Andrés Muñoz strikes out three in four-out save
Andrés Muñoz struck out three while going 1 1/3 scoreless innings Monday to get a save against the Royals.

Advice: The Mariners won this game by four runs, but because the right-hander came in with the score 4-2, he still gets credit for the save. That’s the sixth of the season for the 25-year-old, and he’s lowered his ERA to an aesthetically pleasing 1.62 in the process. Muñoz has been one of the best relievers in baseball for the first quarter of the season, and it should continue through the summer months. Rotoworld Monday, 9:17 pm

    • Drives in four runs
Ramirez went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two stolen bases, and two walks in Monday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: Ramirez knocked two-run singles in both the eighth and ninth innings Monday. It was his first time drawing multiple walks or stealing multiple bases in a game this season. Ramirez was stuck in a 1-for-19 slump over his previous six games before Monday's performance. The veteran third baseman bumped his slash line to .242/.294/.455 with 37 RBI, seven steals and 16 extra-base hits through 41 games. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:40 pm
    • Ramirez has four RBI in win Monday
Jose Ramirez went 2-for-3 with two walks, two stolen bases and four RBI in the Guardians’ win against the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Ramirez contributed to the Guardians’ win with two-run singles in both the eighth inning and ninth inning. He also stole two bases which gives him seven on the season. Ramirez’ average is merely .242 on the season, but he’s up to 37 RBI in 41 games. Rotoworld Monday, 8:39 pm
    • Leaves with hamstring issue
Polanco was removed from Monday's game against the Royals due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: The severity of Polanco's injury is unclear, though he's likely headed for further testing. Josh Rojas and Luis Urias could see more opportunities at second base if Polanco is forced to miss additional time. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:36 pm

    • Reynolds has five-hit night
Bryan Reynolds went 5-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and two RBI in the victory over the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: Reynolds boosted his average to .256 on the season with this effort. His power was noticeably down this season as entering Monday his .145 ISO was 51 points lower than his career .196 ISO. Reynolds’ ISO is now up to .171 on the season. More games like this will help him get back to his career level quickly.
