    • Victorious in return
Bello (4-1) picked up the win Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings against the Nationals. He struck out one.

Advice: Bello picked up right where he left off before going on the IL with a lat injury, tallying a third straight win and yielding fewer than three earned runs for a fourth consecutive outing. The two runs charged against Bello came in the fourth when Eddie Rosario swatted a two-run home run. Despite the long ball, Bello was extremely efficient, getting through five innings on 68 pitches. Bello's restrictions should lighten throughout his next few starts, beginning with a road bout with the Cardinals in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:59 pm

    • Luis Castillo punches out eight in win over A’s
Luis Castillo picked up his fourth victory of the season on Sunday, limiting the Athletics to two runs on seven hits over his six innings of work.

Advice: The 31-year-old right-hander punched out eight batters on the afternoon and didn’t issue a base on balls. Both of the runs that Castillo allowed came via the long ball — with Max Schuemann blasting a solo shot in the fifth inning and Abraham Toro crushing one in the sixth inning. He got 14 whiffs on 100 pitches on the day, registering a CSW of 30 percent. Now 4-5 on the season, he’ll carry a 3.31 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and a 64/11 K/BB ratio (54 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Orioles in Baltimore. Rotoworld Sunday, 6:17 pm

    • Bello returns with solid outing against Nationals
Brayan Bello allowed two runs on four hits in five innings in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bello struck out just one and walked two, but he also allowed only one extra-base hit and an average exit velocity of just 85 mph. He didn’t miss many bats in this one, with a 19 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but it wasn’t a bad effort in his first start coming off the IL. He’ll look to build on it next week against a reeling Cardinals offense. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:40 pm

    • Next start coming Tuesday
Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Taillon (back) will start Tuesday's game in Atlanta, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: A bout with back stiffness resulted in Taillon being scratched from his scheduled start Friday in Pittsburgh, but the right-hander responded well enough from a bullpen session Saturday for the Cubs to clear him to take the hill in Atlanta. With Kyle Hendricks (back) coming off the 15-day injured list to start Sunday in Pittsburgh, Taillon will end up taking over the spot in the rotation that had previously belonged to Hayden Wesneski, who has been moved to the bullpen. • Jameson Taillon (back) starting Tuesday vs. ATL
Jameson Taillon (back) will start Tuesday against Atlanta.

Advice: Taillon will be moved back to Tuesday while he deals with his back issue. The right-hander is moved back with Kyle Hendricks also returning off the injured list from his back injury. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:44 am
    • Red Sox reinstate Brayan Bello (lat) off of IL
Red Sox reinstated RHP Brayan Bello off the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Bello has been out since the end of April due to right lat tightness. The right-hander will rejoin the rotation, but it’s worth pointing out he threw just 52 pitches in his last rehab start. He’ll get the ball Sunday against the Nationals, but fantasy managers should proceed with some caution for this outing. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:16 am

    • Activated ahead of start
The Red Sox reinstated Bello (lat) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Bello landed on the IL on April 24 due to right lat tightness, which he experienced coming out of his start April 19 versus the Pirates. He was able to get the green light to rejoin the big-league rotation after making one rehab start with Double-A Portland on Tuesday, when he allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out five over 2.2 innings. Bello holds a 3-1 record through five starts for the Red Sox with a 3.04 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 26.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:11 am

    • Improves to 5-0
Skubal (5-0) earned the win over Houston on Saturday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings.

Advice: Skubal continued his run of excellence, recording his fifth straight quality start and picking up his fifth win without a loss on the season. The left-hander has built upon last year's breakout campaign to emerge as one of MLB's top hurlers and Detroit's undeniable staff ace. Skubal ranks seventh among qualified starters with a 2.02 ERA and fourth with a 0.86 WHIP. He's tied for fourth with 60 punchouts over 49 innings. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:02 pm

    • Not ready to start Sunday
Taillon (back) won't start Sunday's game in Pittsburgh, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Taillon was scratched from a scheduled start Friday due to back stiffness. He had hoped to take the ball Sunday after throwing off a mound Saturday, but he's not quite ready to go, even though the mound session reportedly went well. It's unclear at this point when Taillon might be ready to make his next start, but the Cubs seems to be optimistic that he'll avoid the 15-day injured list. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:03 pm
