      Alzolay (1-4) allowed three runs on four hits while retiring just a single batter to take the loss Friday against the Brewers.

      Advice: Alzolay came on with one out in the eighth inning and promptly got into trouble, allowing a couple of quick singles before recording an out. The Brewers also ran freely on Alzolay, stealing three bases while he was on the mound. It's been a rough start to the season for the righty, as he's saddled with a 5.54 ERA and has been removed from the closer's role in favor of Hector Neris.       Seager went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 7-1 loss to Kansas City.

      Advice: Seager delivered the Rangers' lone run with a single in the third inning. He's been mired in a slump and entered Friday's game batting .073 (3-for-41) with two RBI over the previous 11 games. Rangers general manager took the long view when speaking with Kenndi Landry of MLB.com, indicating the club expected Seager to need some time to get going after undergoing hernia surgery in January.       Austin Riley went went 2-for-5 with a solo homer in a loss to the Dodgers on Friday.

      Advice: Houck gave up just one run through six frames before stumbling in the seventh. He matched his season high with four runs allowed; in his other five starts this year, Houck has given up just three total runs through 33.2 innings. On top of that, he tied his season low by generating only six swinging strikes. Houck will carry a 2.18 ERA into his next outing, which is lined up to be at home against the Nationals next week.       Anthony Rizzo smacked an RBI single off of Jason Foley in the ninth inning on Friday night, propelling the Yankees to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Tigers.

      Advice: The Yankees had come up empty through eight innings against Reese Olson and a host of Tigers’ relievers. They finally got the bats going in the ninth though, as Aaron Judge singled, Alex Verdugo dropped down a bunt single and Giancarlo Stanton smacked an RBI double to start the inning. Rizzo then followed by poking a ball through the drawn in infield to walk it off.       Aaron Judge went singled, walked, stole a base and scored a run as the Yankees rallied to beat the Tigers in the ninth inning on Friday night in the Bronx.

      Advice: Judge drew a two-out walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but wound up being stranded there. He then started a key rally in the ninth inning with a leadoff single off of Tigers’ closer Jason Foley then came around to score the tying run on an RBI double off the bat of Giancarlo Stanton.     • Marcus Stroman walks five in no-decision Friday
      Marcus Stroman struggled with his command in a no-decision against the Tigers on Friday night, allowing one run on three hits and five walks over his 5 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: The right-hander struck out three batters on the evening. While he allowed plenty of traffic on the basepaths, the only run that scored against him came as Colt Keith worked a bases-loaded walk in the sixth inning. Stroman got just four swings and misses on 90 pitches on the night, posting an underwhelming CSW of only 24 percent.
