    • Homers among three hits
Tatis went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Friday's victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Tatis opened the game's scoring in the fourth inning with a two-run home run off Slade Cecconi. The Padres right fielder added an additional RBI the next inning with a single. His performance Friday night was a welcome sight as Tatis entered slumping a bit, having not homered since April 19, hitting .130 (6-for-46) over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:11 pm
    • Hunter Greene goes 5 2/3 scoreless for Reds
Hunter Greene blanked the Orioles for 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision Friday.

Advice: Greene, who also pitched shutout ball last time out, lowered his ERA to 3.12. Still, the Reds are somehow 1-6 when he pitches this season, despite being 15-10 the rest of the time. Greene’s luck should even out at some point, and he seems like an every-week play in mixed leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:32 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. homers, drives in three in win
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI in a 7-1 win Friday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The Padres were able to hit three homers Friday in the easy win, and Tatis Jr. swatted the first of those roundtrippers with a two-run shot in the fourth. The 25-year-old star also singled home a run in the fifth, and he’s up to seven homers and 20 RBI over the first month-plus. It’s nice to see Tatis Jr. remind early just how impressive of a talent he is. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:25 pm
    • Sharp again in no-decision
Greene did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing five hits and four walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Greene had to contend with some traffic Friday, though he'd ultimately make it through 5.2 innings unscathed. The right-hander fell an out shy of a quality start, though it's his second consecutive scoreless outing -- he blanked the Rangers over seven innings in his last start. Overall, Greene's 1-2 with a 3.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 47:16 K:BB through 40.1 innings. He's tentatively lined up for a home matchup with the Diamondbacks in his next start. • Jhoan Duran fans two in earning second save
Jhoan Duran pitched a perfect ninth with two strikeouts for his second save Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Duran threw 11 pitches tonight and got five missed swings. His CSW was an absurd 64%, and he’s still just settling in after missing a month with a strained oblique. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:56 pm

    • Slams door for save
Duran struck out two batters in a perfect inning to earn a save over the Red Sox on Friday.

Advice: Duran needed just 11 pitches to quickly retire the middle third of Boston's lineup in order. He's struck out three batters while grabbing a pair of saves in two appearances since returning from the injured lust. The 26-year-old posted terrific numbers last season -- 2.45 ERA and 12.1 K/9 through 62.1 innings -- and should see plenty of save chances throughout the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:17 pm

    • Reached base three times
Julien went 1-for-2 with two RBI, two walks and a stolen base in Friday's win over Boston.

Advice: Julien was stuck in an 0-for-11 drought since his last hit April 27. The lefty slugger drove in a run with a third-inning single before drawing a bases-loaded walk in the seventh. He's now slashing .222/.342/.485 with 14 RBI and two stolen bases through 31 appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:13 pm

    • Bailed out by offense
Civale escaped with a no-decision Friday in Tampa Bay's 10-8 win over the Mets, coughing up seven runs on six hits and a walk over 4.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: New York tagged him for three runs in the second inning and four more in the fifth, but Civale still left the mound with the Rays ahead 9-7. The right-hander tossed 52 of 77 pitches for strikes as he allowed five or more runs for the third straight outing. The rough patch has sent his ratios soaring, and Civale will carry a 6.14 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 39:10 K:BB through 36.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next week against the White Sox. • Launches fifth homer
McMahon went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: The 29-year-old led off the sixth inning by hammering a Martin Perez changeup out of PNC Park completely and into the Allegheny River, becoming only the second Colorado player in history to accomplish the feat after Todd Helton back in 2001. Three of McMahon's five homers this year have come in the last eight games, and the power surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .319/.407/.513 with 13 runs and 19 RBI in 32 contests.
