    Advice: Cannon was ineffective in his first taste of MLB action, and gets booted from the active roster a day after allowing four runs over five innings on eight hits against the Rays. The right-hander still has some long-term potential, but can safely be ignored in redraft leagues. Brad Keller was recalled to take Cannon’s spot on the roster, and possibly the rotation.     Advice: The Red Sox pieced together a bullpen day, opening up an opportunity for Slaten to pick up his second win of the season. The Rule 5 selection has been a find for Boston with one run allowed and two walks over 16.1 innings. Slaten has thrown at least two innings in seven of nine outings.     Advice: Berroa was acquired in the trade that sent Gregory Santos to the Mariners. The 24-year-old was not particularly effective in Triple-A with an 8.74 ERA, but the rebuilding (and then some) White Sox will give the right-hander a chance to work out of the bullpen.     Advice: Garcia is booted off the active and 40-man roster to make room for Brad Keller. In 14 appearances with the White Sox, Garcia registered a 7.07 ERA with a 15/11 K/BB over 14 innings of work. The 24-year-old may see interest on the waiver wire as a former top prospect.     Advice: The 26-year-old was in line for his first loss of the season as exited with the Tigers trailing 3-1 through six innings, but the offense got him off the hook for the loss with a five-run seventh. Mize missed all of last season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he's pitched well early in 2024 with a 3.08 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 18:6 K:BB over 26.1 innings.
