• Rafaela drives in two runs in win over Nationals
Ceddanne Rafaela went 1-for-3 with two RBI in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Rafaela had a ground rule double off of MacKenzie Gore in the second inning and is now up to 22 RBI on the season. The season-long stats don’t look great, but he’s 10-for-34 in May, which is a .323 average. The bigger issue for him is he has 11 strikeouts to just one walk over the same timeframe, which highlights some of the concerns with his profile right now. Still, the 23-year-old figures to play every day for the Red Sox and has the power and speed to remain a useful fantasy play in deeper formats. Rotoworld 54 minutes ago

  • Dealing with thumb injury
Friedl suffered a right thumb contusion in Sunday's matchup with the Giants, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Friedl was hit by a pitch in the top of the first inning, exiting the contest after getting some work in the hitting cages before the bottom of the frame. The outfielder appears to have avoided any fractures in his thumb and he can be considered day-to-day for the time being. Rotowire.com 57 minutes ago

  • Rosario has homer, steal in loss to Red Sox
Eddie Rosario went 1-for-2 with two walks, a home run, and a steal in a loss to the Red Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Rosario’s overall stat line isn’t great, but he now has hits in seven straight games and went 7-for-15 this week with three home runs, four RBI, and three steals. We’ve seen him be a useful fantasy contributor before, so if this is the beginning of a hot stretch, now might be the time to pick him up in deeper formats. Rotoworld 59 minutes ago

  • Dealing with illness
Bailey was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Reds due to a viral illness, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Bailey was a late removal from the team's lineup ahead of their series finale with Cincinnati, which is now understood to have been the result of an illness. If the catcher is forced to miss a couple days, Blake Sabol will likely operate as the team's exclusive catcher. Rotowire.com Today, 2:42 pm

  • Wisdom has three hits, HR in win over Pirates
Patrick Wisdom went 3-for-4 with a home run in the Cubs’ win over the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Wisdom laced a solo home run off Aroldis Chapman in the 10th inning that traveled 412 feet and left the bat at 106.8 mph. He also had a 105.5 mph single off Bailey Falter earlier in the game. The Cubs are only using him against left-handed pitching but that has helped his results so far this season, so he can be useful in deeper formats if the Cubs face a collection of lefties in a given week. • Suffers left shoulder strain
Lee exited Sunday's contest against the Reds in the first inning with a left shoulder strain, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Lee was forced to leave Sunday's series finale with Cincinnati after he ran into the outfield wall after suffering what is now understood to be a left shoulder strain. The 25-year-old now appears set for an extended absence after making his return from a foot injury Sunday. If Lee ultimately ends up on the injured list, Tyler Fitzgerald would stand to see an increase in workload in San Francisco's outfield. Rotowire.com Today, 2:35 pm

  • Connor Joe has two hits, HR in loss to Cubs
Connor Joe went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double in a loss to the Cubs on Sunday.

Advice: Joe had a big 10th-inning home run off Adbert Alzolay that left the bat at 109.4 mpg and brought the Pirates to within one. He also had a 102 mph double earlier in the game and has been seeing the ball well. He also made five starts for the Pirates this week and has been starting to play more regularly, which would be huge for his fantasy value. If he can continue to draw semi-regular starts against right-handed pitchers, he can be scooped up in all 15-team formats. Rotoworld Today, 2:33 pm

  • Jesús Sánchez has two hits in win over Phillies
Jesús Sánchez went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 7-6 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Sánchez looked good at the dish with a 107.7 mph double in the second inning and his only two outs being a 110.7 mph lineout that had an xBA of .840 and a 105 mph fly out with an xBA of .930 that would have been a home run in 10 MLB stadiums. However, despite that, he was removed for a pinch hitter in the 10th inning with a lefty on the mound as Emmanuel Rivera knocked in the game-winning run. Sánchez’s upside is thus limited since he won’t face lefties at all, but he could provide value in daily moves leagues while hitting in the middle of the order for the Marlins. • Stott has two hits, two steals in loss to Marlins
Bryson Stott went 2-for-2 with a double, two steals, and three walks in a loss to the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Neither of Stott’s hits were hit particularly hard, but he didn’t record a single out in five trips to the plate so nobody is mad about that. He’s been consistently hitting fifth in the order and is now batting .270/.370/.436 on the season with 10 steals. He’s been very useful to fantasy managers. Rotoworld Today, 2:19 pm
