      Luis Rengifo hit a two-run homer in the Angels’ win Friday over the Tigers.

      Advice: Rengifo gave the Angels a 2-0 lead in the first inning with a two-run swat off Kenta Maeda. Those would be the only runs the Angels would pick up off Maeda, but the Halos were able to get to the Detroit bullpen to pull off the win.       Advice: Rengifo increased the Angels' lead to five runs with a two-out, two-run blast in the bottom of the fifth inning, giving the second baseman his first long ball since May 24. The performance marked his eighth multi-hit performance this month and the third in his four contests, raising his season batting average to .312. The home run was Rengifo's fifth of the campaign.       Marcus Semien finished 0-for-5 on Wednesday and is in a 4-for-41 slump in his last 10 games.

      Advice: Semien started off well enough in April, but he’s been treading water for about two months now, and particularly unfortunate for fantasy leaguers is that he’s attempted just four steals this season, converting three of them.       Luis Arraez went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and an RBI on Sunday afternoon as the Padres fell to the Brewers.

      Advice: The sweet-swinging 27-year-old got the Padres on the board with a two-out RBI single off of Tobias Myers in the fifth inning.       Arraez went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-5 win over the Brewers.

      Advice: Arraez entered Friday with just four hits over his last six games, an unusual lack of production for the contact-heavy infielder. He made an impact with his lone knock Friday, sparking the Padres' comeback with a fifth-inning blast. Over 76 games between the Padres and the Marlins this year, he's slashing .314/.349/.385 with two homers, 21 RBI, 43 runs scored, 15 doubles, a triple and three stolen bases. He's the only player in the majors with over 100 hits so far in 2024, but that's led to his usual empty batting average, as he offers little in the way of power or speed and won't generate many RBI as a leadoff hitter.
