    • Bobby Witt Jr. homers twice, drives in six vs. DET
Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Tigers.

Advice: Witt drove inn Maikel Garcia in the bottom of the first to give the Royals a 1-0 lead after Garcia started things off with a leadoff triple. That was just the start for Witt, who would later blast a three-run homer 468 feet to center field to put the Royals up 5-0 and hit another homer in the sixth inning just for good measure. Witt has now hit safely in five straight games and has upped his RBI total to 31 on the season. Rotoworld 4 minutes ago

    • Matt Vierling drives in two in loss to Royals
Matt Vierling went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Tigers’ loss to the Royals.

Advice: Vierling drove in two of the Tigers’ three runs they scored in the fourth inning. His one-out triple brought home Wencel Pérez and Mark Canha and helped cut into what was an 8-0 deficit at the time. Vierling has now driven in 18 runs on the season while also adding three homers. He’s hit safely in five of his last six games but doesn’t provide enough to make him worth starting outside the deepest of leagues. Rotoworld 5 minutes ago

    • Removed with groin injury
Grandal was removed from Tuesday's game against the Giants due to left groin discomfort, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Grandal doubled and came around to score during Pittsburgh's ninth-inning rally, but he was unable to come out to catch the top of the 10th frame. The severity of his injury isn't immediately apparent, but the Pirates should have more information on the veteran backstop's injury before the start of Wednesday's game. • Bryce Harper has two hits, HR in win
Bryce Harper went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run, and two runs scored in a win over the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: Harper unloaded on a 422-foot home run in the sixth inning that left the bat at 109 mph. However, he also had the hardest-hit ball of the day with a 112.5 mph double in the fourth inning. The 31-year-old is now up to 11 home runs and 36 RBI on the season as he continues to prove he’s one of the best fantasy baseball hitters. Rotoworld 6 minutes ago

    • Mize allows six earned runs in loss to Royals
Casey Mize allowed six earned runs on nine hits over 1 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Royals.

Advice: Mize was off all night and saw his 3.50 ERA balloon to 4.57 as a result. After allowing two runs in the first inning, Mize was taken deep by Bobby Witt Jr. for a three-run homer in the second and was pulled for Tyler Horton after allowing three more hits to the next four batters he faced. It was the second time this season Mize has allowed five or more earned runs, while his 1 2/3 innings pitched marked his shortest outing of the season. He’ll look to get right in his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld 7 minutes ago

    • Corey Seager homers in loss to Phillies
Corey Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Seager crushed an offering from Jeff Hoffman 103.3 mph off the bat and 380 feet for his seventh home run of the year. It was also his 5th home run in 18 games in May as the power is starting to show up. However, Seager also had four strike outs on Tuesday and is still hitting just .246/.335/.383 on the season. The power surge is encouraging and hopefully it will lead to a full-on hot streak in the coming weeks. Rotoworld 8 minutes ago

    • Rebounds for eighth save
Diaz earned the save in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Padres, logging a strikeout and a walk in a scoreless inning.

Advice: After issuing a leadoff walk to Jurickson Profar in the ninth, Diaz struck out Manny Machado before inducing a game-ending double play off the bat of Jake Cronenworth to close out the shutout victory. It's an encouraging bounce-back effort from Diaz, who'd allowed five runs (four earned) in his previous three appearances (2.1 innings) while taking a pair of losses and a blown save. The 27-year-old right-hander still sports a subpar 6.62 ERA with a 1.64 WHIP and 18:14 K:BB across 17.2 innings while going eight for 10 in save opportunities this season. • Ranger Suárez strikes out 10 in win over TEX
Ranger Suárez allowed one run on five hits in seven innings in a win over the Rangers, striking out 10 and walking just two.

Advice: He just keeps doing it. Suárez now has a 1.36 ERA on the season to go along with a 9-0 record. He posted just an 18 percent whiff rate on Tuesday but did have a solid 27 percent CSW and he pounded the zone with his sinker and four-seam. No pitch besides the four-seam or sinker had a zone rate over 33 percent, but it didn’t seem to matter on the night. It’s hard to imagine Suárez keeping this up, and his start this weekend in Colorado is certainly risky, but you can’t bench the left-hander while he’s pitching like this. • Returning Wednesday
Dunning (shoulder) will be reinstated from the injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Phililes, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: A right rotator cuff strain forced Dunning onto the injured list in early May, and he will now return to the Rangers' rotation after just a few days more than a minimum-length stay. It's unclear if he will be under an innings restriction during his first start back, although he has only pitched past the fifth inning once in his last five outings anyway. The 29-year-old righty owns a 4.10 ERA and 1.15 WHIP alongside a 43:17 K:BB across 37.1 innings this year. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago
