    • Anthony Rizzo sitting Sunday vs. Tigers
Anthony Rizzo is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Tigers.

Advice: Rizzo will get a day off a day after hitting a three-run homer. The 34-year-old will get a break with Oswaldo Cabrera getting a start across the diamond at first base and Jon Berti handling third. Rotoworld Today, 7:32 am

    • Receiving Sunday off
Rizzo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Rizzo started the Yankees' first 35 games of the season but will receive his first day off Sunday, giving him two straight days of rest since a team day off follows Monday. Oswaldo Cabrera is stepping in at first base while Jon Berti starts at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Today, 7:30 am

    • Escapes with sixth save
Neris allowed one run on two hits and one walk but recorded the final three outs of Saturday's game against the Brewers to earn his sixth save of the season. He struck out one batter.

Advice: Neris put the tying run in scoring position with just one out, but he then buckled down and retired Tyler Black and Willy Adames to preserve the win for starter Jameson Taillon. With six saves in as many attempts since April 20, and with Adbert Alzolay struggling to get on track in lower-leverage situations, Neris appears to be shoring up his spot in the ninth inning under manager Craig Counsell. • Stumbles against former club
Lynn came away with a no-decision Saturday, giving up five runs (four earned) on four hits and three walks over five-plus innings in a 6-5 extra-inning loss to the White Sox. He struck out four.

Advice: Facing the team he spent two-plus seasons with before getting dealt to the Dodgers last July, Lynn struggled to find the strike zone on a rainy day and exited the game after 94 pitches (53 strikes). The veteran right-hander has worked at least five innings in five straight outings, and this was the first time in 2024 he's been tagged for more than four runs. Lynn will take a 3.28 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 33:16 K:BB through 35.2 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come next week in Milwaukee. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 pm
    • Expected to play Sunday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Bohm (hip) will be reevaluated Sunday and expects the third baseman to be in the lineup versus the Giants, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Bohm was removed from Saturday's game versus the Giants with right hip flexor tightness, but his exit was considered precautionary and it sounds like he should be fine. The third baseman singled, was hit by a pitch and scored two runs before being lifted from Saturday's tilt. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:52 pm

    • Alec Bohm (hip) expects to play on Sunday
Alec Bohm (hip) told reporters after Saturday’s game that he expects to return to the Phillies’ lineup on Sunday.

Advice: Bohm elaborated, saying “I’m good. I’ve played through much worse. It’s nothing really I’m concerned about.” Whether or not Phillies’ skipper Rob Thomson gives him that opportunity though, remains to be seen. Either way, it doesn’t sound like a trip to the injured list will be in the cards for the 27-year-old slugger. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:48 pm

    • Alec Bohm leaves game with right hip tightness
Alec Bohm was removed from Saturday night’s game against the Giants due to tightness in his right hip.

Advice: The Phillies are calling his early exit only a precautionary measure, and for the time being the 27-year-old third baseman is considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status on Sunday though just to be on the safe side. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:04 pm

    • Removed with hip tightness
Bohm departed Saturday's game versus the Giants after the third inning due to right hip tightness, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirery reports.

Advice: The Phillies are saying Bohm's removal was precautionary, and it's worth noting they were leading 9-1 at the time and the conditions at Citizens Bank Park were poor following a rain delay. It sounds like it's safe to call Bohm day-to-day, but the team could offer more clarity after the contest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:43 pm

    • Lance Lynn gives up five runs in no-decision
Lance Lynn allowed five runs -- four earned -- with four strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Lynn gave up a pair of runs in the first inning on two hits, a walk, and a sacrifice fly. He worked through two scoreless innings before a base hit and an error brought a third run in for the White Sox in the fourth. Lynn would pitch into the sixth with a two-run lead, but walked the first two batters before he was pulled. Both inherited runners would come in to score, saddling Lynn with a no-decision. The 36-year-old right-hander will take a 3.28 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and a 33/16 K/BB ratio across 35 2/3 innings into a start against the Brewers in Milwaukee on Thursday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:40 pm
