    • Dazzles in no-decision
Miller allowed two hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Miller rebounded from his worst start of the year by producing his third scoreless outing in 2024. Two of those scoreless efforts have come over his three starts in June. The 25-year-old has a 3.48 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 80:24 K:BB over 82.2 innings through 14 starts this season as he continues to impress as part of the Mariners' strong rotation. Miller's next start is projected to be a challenging road outing in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:43 pm

    • Bryce Miller tosses seven scoreless vs. White Sox
Bryce Miller tossed seven shutout innings with eight strikeouts in a no-decision against the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Miller was brilliant on Wednesday, holding the White Sox scoreless over seven frames. He scattered two hits and two walks while striking out eight batters on 12 whiffs, tossing 64-of-92 pitches for strikes. Miller unfortunately lost the win when the bullpen blew the one-run lead in the ninth. The 25-year-old right-hander has posted a solid 3.48 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and an 80/24 K/BB ratio across 82 2/3 innings. He’ll take on the Guardians in Cleveland on Tuesday. • Next start pushed back
Manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that Yamamoto's next start will be pushed back from Thursday against the Rangers in Los Angeles to Saturday's home game versus Kansas City, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Advice: The Dodgers haven't announced a replacement starter for Thursday's contest, but they will give the rookie right-hander an extra couple of days to rest up after he threw a season-high 106 pitches across seven scoreless innings during his last outing against the Yankees on June 7. The 25-year-old has put up a 2.50 ERA and 1.11 WHIP alongside a 22:5 K:BB across 18 innings over his last three starts. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:38 pm

    • Cruises to eighth win
Wheeler (8-3) picked up the win in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over the Red Sox, allowing one run on three hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Two of the hits came on the first two batters he faced as Boston pushed across a run in the bottom of the first inning, but Wheeler shut the opposition down the rest of the way. The right-hander exited after 88 pitches (59 strikes) with his fifth straight quality start and 11th of the season, putting him in a tie for the major-league lead with four other pitchers. Wheeler will take a 2.16 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 95:27 K:BB through 87.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road this weekend in Baltimore. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:06 am
    • Rebounds with win
Stroman (6-2) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing four hits and three walks with one strikeout across 5.2 scoreless innings against Kansas City.

Advice: After allowing a season-high five runs in his last start, Stroman blanked the Royals on Tuesday. However, he struggled with command, finding the strike zone on just 54 of his 102 pitches while issuing three walks. The 33-year-old has generated five combined strikeouts in his last three starts, a stretch in which he's walked seven batters and hit two more. On the year, Stroman owns a 2.82 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP across 79.2 innings. He's lined up to face the Red Sox at Fenway on Sunday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:01 pm
    • Stroman pitches 5 2/3 scoreless innings vs. Royals
Marcus Stroman pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings and allowed four hits in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Stroman allowed seven baserunners while striking out just one batter, but the veteran righty did what was needed to stifle a potent Royals lineup on the road. It was a nice bounce back for Stroman, who allowed a season-high five earned runs in his last outing against the Twins, but surrendered just one extra-base hits in this one. Now sitting on a 6-2 record and boasting a 2.82 ERA, Stroman will look to earn his seventh win on Sunday against the Red Sox. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:55 pm
    • Zack Wheeler contains Red Sox over seven innings
Zack Wheeler allowed one run on three hits over seven innings in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Wheeler struck out four and walked one, so it wasn’t an overpowering outing, but he also allowed just one extra-base hit and an average exit velocity on balls in play of just 79 mph. Wheeler induced just five whiffs on 43 swings for a 12 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW. He’ll now take a 2.16 ERA into a tough showdown this weekend against the Orioles. • Erick Fedde excels for seven before pen implodes
Erick Fedde surrendered one run in seven-plus innings Monday in a no-decision against the Mariners.

Advice: It would have been seven scoreless innings for Fedde had he been pulled then, but Pedro Grifol thought he was the best choice to start the eighth. Grifol then quickly changed his mind after a leadoff homer. Fedde was pulled from a 4-1 game at that point, only to sit and watch as the White Sox bullpen blew the game. With a 3.10 ERA through 14 starts, Fedde is counting the days until he’s traded to a major league team. Rotoworld Monday, 10:44 pm

    • Let down by bullpen after QS
Fedde allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out four batters over seven innings in a no-decision against Seattle on Monday.

Advice: Fedde was brilliant through seven scoreless frames before Dominic Canzone tagged him for a solo homer leading off the eighth. That spelled the end of Fedde's outing, but he departed in line for the victory with a 4-1 lead. However, Michael Kopech entered and gave up three runs, wiping out the advantage and forcing Fedde to settle for a no-decision. Despite the late letdown, this was nice bounce-back for the right-hander after he gave up seven earned runs across 10 innings over his previous two starts. He's in the midst of a career-best campaign with a 3.10 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 77:23 K:BB through 81.1 frames. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:03 pm
