    • Allows four runs in loss
Stone (4-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings.

Advice: Stone reached at least six innings for a fifth consecutive outing but just missed out on a quality start this time around. The Diamondbacks scratched out a pair of runs on him in the second and another in the fifth before Christian Walker crushed a solo home run in the sixth to make it a 4-1 ballgame. Tuesday was Stone's first time giving up more than a run since April 20 and his first loss since April 7. He now owns a 3.60 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 34:17 K:BB in 50 innings and lines up for a road start against the Mets next week. Rotowire.com 31 minutes ago

    • Secures win with elite performance
Hader (3-3) earned the win over the Angels in 10 innings on Tuesday, pitching two perfect innings while striking out four.

Advice: Hader put together a vintage performance to help the Astros get by the Angels, which included striking out the side in the 10th inning. He's now pitched multiple frames in two of his last three outings and is showing signs of dominance once again after a rough start to the year. Over his last 11 games, Hader has a 1.26 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB in 14.1 innings, which equates to a 44.4 strikeout rate. For the year, he's now lowered his ERA to a 4.09 to complement a 1.09 WHIP and 35:9 K:BB in 22 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 4:53 am

    • Three RBI in loss
Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Rengifo got the Angels on the board quickly with a two-run blast off Christian Javier in the opening frame. He later plated a third run in the fourth on a base knock. He's now tallied at least one hit in 11 of his last 12 games, which includes 13 hits and a .371 average over his last eight games. He's regularly been hitting first or second since coming back from the injured list last week and is now slashing ,316/.366/.474 with three homers, 15 RBI, 16 runs and an 8:18 BB:K in 124 plate appearances. • Gavin Stone charged with four runs in loss
Gavin Stone lost to the Diamondbacks after allowing four runs in six innings on Tuesday.

Advice: Stone came up a little short of delivering a fifth straight quality start and took his first loss since April 7. He gave up eight hits, walked one and struck out five in falling to 4-2 with a 3.60 ERA. Stone might get a two-start week against the Mets and Rockies next week, which would make him a great play in shallow leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:43 pm

    • Josh Hader gets win after two perfect innings
Josh Hader picked up a win after pitching perfect ninth and 10th innings against the Angels on Tuesday.

Advice: Hader fanned four while pitching two innings for the second time in his last three appearances. He’s allowed one run and struck out 14 in 9 1/3 innings this month, lowering his ERA from 6.39 to 4.09. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:02 pm

    • Luis Rengifo hits two-run homers against Astros
Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better. • Records 15th steal
Acuna went 0-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Advice: The steal was Acuna's first since May 4, an unusually long drought without a theft for the speedy outfielder. He was caught on his only attempt over 12 games between steals. Acuna has struggled to get into a rhythm at the plate this season, slashing .247/.355/.351 with three home runs, 12 RBI, 36 runs scored and 15 steals over 203 plate appearances. Some regression from last year's 41-homer, 73-steal campaign was to be expected in 2024, but Acuna's career-low .706 OPS so far has been a brutal over-correction of his fortune. • Eloy Jiménez leaves game with hamstring strain
Eloy Jiménez was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Not good. Jiménez is currently in the midst of an extended offensive slump and will almost certainly wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. The oft-injured 27-year-old outfielder simply hasn’t been able to stay on the field the last few years, which diminishes his appeal for fantasy managers, despite his immense talent. There should be an update regarding the severity of the injury at some point in the near future after he undergoes some additional imaging. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:15 pm

    • Exits with hamstring injury
Jimenez was removed from Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Jimenez appeared to be limping after scoring from second base during the fifth inning of Tuesday's contest, and Gavin Sheets later replaced him as Chicago's DH during the seventh. The severity of Jimenez's injury remains unclear, but the White Sox will take a closer look at him and should offer more information on his status after the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:56 pm
