      Advice: Yelich collected his first five-hit game of 2024 and fifth of his career, achieving the feat for the first time since Aug. 17, 2019. The former MVP has been resurgent since returning from a back injury May 8, hitting .321 (25-for-78) with one homer, six stolen bases, 16 RBI and 14 runs scored.       Aaron Judge homered twice and drove in four runs in a 6-2 win for the Yankees over the Giants on Friday.

      Advice: This getting ridiculous. Judge is now all alone in eighth place in Yankees’ history with 277 homers; passing Jorge Posada. The slugger also singled for a three-hit day, and he’s up to 20 homers on the season. The month of May has been extremely kind to Judge.       Freeman went 2-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Freeman had been leading off over the last couple of weeks, but that should be done with Steven Kwan (hamstring) returning from the injured list Friday. Freeman was second in the order Friday against southpaw Patrick Corbin, but he'll likely bat lower against right-handers moving forward. Freeman's steal was his second in five games and his eighth of the campaign. He's still at a mediocre .223/.317/.354 slash line with four home runs, 22 RBI, 32 runs scored and 11 doubles over 203 plate appearances overall, but he's hit .295 (18-for-61) over his last 16 contests.       Advice: The homer was Fry's fourth in his last eight games. The 28-year-old has enjoyed a memorable May, going 23-for-60 (.383) with seven homers and 18 RBI over 21 contests for the month. He's slashing .352/.485/.629 with eight homers, 27 RBI, 27 runs scored and four stolen bases over 40 games this season. Fry offers a right-handed option at multiple positions, though he's unlikely to be needed in left field as much with Steven Kwan back from a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old has swung the bat well as of late, and this makes seven hits over his last five games to see his average rise to .266 from .242 in the process.       Christian Yelich went 5-for-6, drove in five runs and stole a base in a 12-5 win over the White Sox on Friday.

      Advice: The Brew Crew were able to pick up 23 hits and six walks against the overmatched White Sox. Yelich was responsible for nearly a quarter of those, and two of them were double, giving him six on the season.       MJ Melendez finished 0-for-4 while his teammates were combining to score eight runs Friday against the Padres.

      Advice: Melendez will likely turn this around if the Royals stick with him long enough, but at this point, sending him down for 2-3 weeks would make sense.
